Because it was different... No one had enough wits to defeat any dunes so no one could... And I personally like unsatisfied endings more than happy endings... Movies /books/shows like this leave a deeper impact than happy endings... They compell us to think over it... Right now in beyhadh no character is half as intelligent as maya... (I don't hate saanjh but still I don't find her capable enough of defeating maya)... If maya is defeated by anyone if would come across as forced one just to stick to the concept of burai pe achhai ki jeet...

For me I always prefer those endings which are satisfying...be it happy or bitter-sweet which serve a purpose and give sense of completion !

I prefer satisfying endings rather than ambiguous ones !

For me an ending doesn't need to be dark to have a deep impact.

I personally would not want Beyhadh to end like GG with Maya getting away without realizing her mistakes and getting away scot free

And Maya paying price for her crimes doesn't mean it will be 'Burai ki acchai pe jeet' per say but it will prove that EVERYONE HAS TO PAY FOR THEIR DEEDS AND HADH SE ZYADA KUCH BHI ACCHA NAHI HOTA - PYAR BHI NAHI,

I don't think anyone will bring Maya's downfall but she herself will do it...Her BEYHADH LOVE will prove to be harmful not only for others but FOR HERSELF as well...No one else but her own actions will lead to her downfall

That is the very tagline - Hadh se zyada kuch bhi accha nahi hota- Pyar bhi nahi - this has to come true not only for others who are affected by Maya's beyhadhness but for MAYA as well.

And for that to happen she cannot go scot free.

Otherwise i don't see the purpose of the story !

But this is true that we at this point can only speculate the ending...it can go any way.

About punishment for people like them is just their existence... Cause they can never be happy in their life... They will always be alone with no one to love them... Even locking them up in prison wont be much of a punishment... Because psychopaths respond to punishments differently than normal humans... And no one is bothered enough to take them to professional help...

Right now no one is capable to defeat maya. I agree. Just to prove burai pe jit they shouldn't show maya getting defeated. It should be done in a convincing manner.

Have u seen kali ek agnipariksha, the ending was burai mein acchai ki jeet but not very convincing. The character was undefeatable. I loved the character Thakral (crazy me) 😆 that actor was ashotush rana, what acting. That particular character even proved him self innocent in last episode so they had to shoot him because through law they just couldn't defeat him.

But Coming to behadh, I want good win over bad, the truth win over mayajhal. Now u l ask why?

Firstly that character Thakral from kali ek agnipariksha gave a choice unlike maya, in bollywood directors do ask sexual favours from actresses to get film, it's business if u don't like then don't do it. It's a choice of actor. But the protagonist wanted to file a case against him.

But when it comes to maya, maya never gives a choice to anyone. She never bothered when arjun loved her, she wanted to get him, so manipulated him. She got him but not capable of having healthy relationship with arjun. Jhanvi and arjun are prisoners of life and then destroyed ayaan life. Now she is going to get more dangerous. Breaking hands and sadistic pleasures.
So after going through worst, it will injustice to the rest of characters if maya gets away with her crimes but they have to show in a convincing way. Most of audiences are waiting to see maya s downfall.

Maya in season 2 is negative.. Totally psychopath... She is genius... Many people are disgusted by yesterday's episode but I on contrary loved it... Yes it was creepy but I didn't expect planning of this level from her... At most I expected her to change the reports by bribary but man is she smart... She indeed added Ayaan's DNA to her injuries...
Maya is a psychopath so by basic definition she lacks the ability to empathize with other's emotions... Going by morality yes she should be defeated... Had it been in real life then I would have definitely wanted it...
But again it's a fiction... I am loving Maya's character... It takes guts to to make the nagative character lead of the show... She is different... Genius... So I wont mind her being undefeated... For me a show need not to go by moral values as long as it's entertaining...
Rest everyone is different... They are hoping for different endings... So it's fine 😊
But for me it will be truly breaking stereotypes if they don't show her losing in the end...
