I think she behaved like a typical wife who after having a bad day ( a very bad one) took out the entire anger on the very person who is most close to her - her husband 😆 , no matter how unreasonable or right or wrong or whether Shivaay did anything at all to hurt her this time ! It's alright to have one tantrum day once in a while, she has her weaknesses too. As much as I don't like her doing detective giri regarding Mahi , the same way it should be at least a joint decision of both Annika and Shivaay to find out about her parents. She is upset now, but she'll come around and together they can find out about her past. The reason why she didn't try to find out about her parents until now, may she was told that she was abandoned as a child and she may be angry with her parents !

Fary ...disagree here ...I found her breakdown quite genuine ...this is probably for the first time she cried her heart like this. Her abandonment issues are way deep, that's why she clings to Shivay and seeks his assurance of their relation. Yes, she was mentally prepared for this day. But when the moment came, she crumbled down.

Hi,

I havent watched the episode, but from what I have gathered by reading numerous posts over here in IF, it looks like she has crossed her threshold limit. All her pent frustration, inhibitions, insecurities, fears etc etc came out in open. Hence all that overly dramatic crying sessions. She rarely has such breakdowns. She is just tired of being strong.

Exactly, the expectation is there no matter how hard she tries to deny it. Infact, she expects only from him, and this issue is really big for her, so she is not wrong if she gets angry with him over whatever half truth she heard. Tantrums are also ok once in a while, she is a normal girl after all. When SSO can throw so much tantrums left right and center, why can't anni? Cut some slack for that poor girl.

I know some people who are really calm and composed all the time, but once they lose it, they lose it really bad. They are like really scary, as if all their suppressed anguish resurfaced at once. It happens in real world, people.

And so far the pani scenes are concerned, it's like their thing or atleast the writers think so. Har baat pe pani fektein hain, tadi tadi mein pani ka satyanas, they should watch 'dry dreams' (a short film) really.

Just now watched the episode n I don't really think she over reacted...Well, the crying part was not even for 30 sec I believe..She immediately composed herself n started explaining...so I felt the scene was beautiful and well enacted...I guess we are used to strong, cheerful, tadibaaz Anika but not the weak Anika...so the obvious! Nonetheless, Surbhi...shez class apart! Narbhi as Shivika are just magical!

However, I wish Harneet show equal interest and integrity in Anika's characterization as much as Shivaay's! It really saddens me to see such a beautiful character being used as a ploy for TRPs and hence the flip-flops!

I just want to say that the line about her being thrown out of interviews because she didn't have a last name was akhand chutiyapa...nobody gets THROWN OUT because of that...yes connections are important to get selected which anika probably didn't have,in that case she couldn't have gotten the job which is really unfair...but it's not as if they rudely ask you to get out or something.Or does something like that happen?😆

Other than that surbhi acted well and the hug was really so sweet.
