That is what everyone's fear is. It is the most likely explanation of why Sandhya is doing this but since no one wants that, we keep hoping its something else. 😆

All that makes sense for a young Kunal. It doesn't make as much sense for an adult Kunal, in reference to finding out information. As I said, the fact that the relationship is sour is completely fine and that you can't rectify in an instant because childhood baggage is there. And I'm sure it happened the way you are saying then. But the fact that he doesn't know about the disease or didn't try to find out more is what I have an issue with. Sandhya and Karan are not his only source of information now, he is capable to find out more. At this point in the story, the onus I was talking about is simply to find out the issue, not resolving it as that comes much later. I am simply saying it would have made more sense for him to know about the disease and then have all the issues about Karan pushing him away, him trying etc etc.

Hence, she's made Karan (cause Kunal was already pretty strong at that time) so vulnerable and weak that the Chauhans know they're going to need Sandy and her services for a lifetime. Only she can handle Karan. In others eyes, the disease is contagious (at least Nirmala knows it) so Sandy is great cause she's risking herself to tend to him. If Karan is cured, she again has a risk of being ignored or thrown out. Hence, all the keen efforts to keep him behind and pull down NaiRan.

Also with Karan's behavior towards adult Kunal... I don't think Kunal would feel comfortable butting into Karan's issues without his permission.

Remember there was a scene in Bhoondi.. where the younger Mama was talking about being the youngest. And Kunal interjected by saying that the elders always want to take care of the young ones but the young ones don't get it. So I've always felt Kunal feels like he's tried his best but hasn't gotten a positive response from Karan.

But if Kunal asks for medical records, Sandhya can't refuse na. If she has already manipulated the documents, it doesn't matter. And if Kunal was insistent, Sandhya would not be able to refuse, she would have given him something, even if they were tampered. So he would have found out something at least.

About the other thing, I don't know. On holi, when Kunal said I don't understand what your problem is, Karan replied that that is the issue that even you don't understand what my problem is. So i think Karan expected more from Kunal to find out. So I don't think he would have a problem with Kunal gathering information.

Definitely, Kunal thinks that he has tried enough. But as I said, I would have believed that completely if he just knew about the disease a bit more thoroughly. Now, I believe he tried 75 per cent or something. 😆

But I have always loved the subtle care that Kunal shows for Karan. And now that they are bonding, I think they will understand each other better, which they both need. I am really looking forward to it.
