Hola peeps ! Hope you guys are are doing good .I have been restraining myself from making a post since a very long time . But couldn't control myself today . So a small disclaimer this post might just become into a long rant ! Anyways getting to the point . Truthfully speaking I have been hooked on to the show only for shivika , Rudy 's cuteness and innocence and ANIKA ( yes I wrote that in caps coz she is love )
REASONS FOR MY DISSAPOINTMENT
- Ever since Annika has been married forcefully I have had issues relating to the way shivaay has been let off easily .There have been a lot of things said and done throughout the process that we all wanted shivaay to suffer in the name of redemption ( now now don't deny that 😃 )
-We all wanted Tia and the kapoor's to be shown hell , insulted and kicked out of the house yet all we got was its okay Tia .. Go live your life , enjoy !! ( damn we all were so excited and anticipating the worst punishment for Tia but alas that didn't happen )
- Oh and how can we forget pinky and her deadly insults! How we wished the worst case scenario for her yet she is still alive and prancing around throwing curses against her own son and his strength ! Uff
- We all had forgotten all these , accepted that we would never get a redemption track forgot about the forced marriage and thinking that Annika would ever leave because we were served with cutesy scenes of shivika here and there that melted our hearts and made us go Awww ! We even forgot that NKK still existed . We were taken to a faraway land like Annika where we all wanted to live in the moment and enjoy while it existed , until today !
- And what disturbs me most is the way Annika's problems and emotions are handled . Nobody in truth actually stood by her when it was revealed how she was forced . Yes Rudy and Om did retaliate but they let go off the situation so easily. Even dadi for god's sake . Annika was literally hanged from the tree for few mins ( believe me it's fatal ) yet more importance was given to shivaay's dust allergy ( which was taken care of by anti histamine ! ) insults against her are waved off like she is born to be tortured by the Oberois. Remember how we were angry at shivaay just before he took the bullet , and we all forgot about it because he took the bullet . But what about Annika . We didn't even get one episode of angst form shivaay. Her emotions and wounds and problems are trivialized so much compared to shivaay . And yes I do agree now when mahi says the whole world revolves around shivaay . It's about shivaay always !
WHY I LOVE ANNIKA OVER SHIVAAY
Yes it's mean to say and also difficult to choose . But alas the cv's have made me feel bad , sympathize and support Annika over shivaay ! From my viewpoint ( yes I am being very opinionated here ) shivaay has had it too easy . Like it was pointed out by Annika herself in the earlier episode that shivay has just been lucky to be born into an elite family . He has had it too easy . He gets what he wants , lived life on his own terms , even if he had to crush somebody for his aspirations . For him it's all about his family and nothing else matters . He even made Annika sacrifice so much for his family , made her tolerate Daksh her tormentor for few days on the pretext of his sister's shaadi . He did support Annika but only when he was pushed to the edge . I fail to understand the discrimination against Annika . How easy it was for shivaay to let go off his NKK wen it came to Om . He didn't even have this conflict . But why this change of thoughts with Annika ? Why does he have to choose ? Annika would never do that . She is so selfless , sacrificing , loving , I can go on and on . I do understand that the crux of the story is about shivaay getting over his NKK one day and accepting Annika . But I am dissapointed with the way cvs are handling such a beautiful story . I wanted to see shivaay reacting to Annika 's fears , like her fear of darkness but we were exempted from that and were told that shivaay got to know about it . And what I fail to understand is how shivaay , who is all about naam and khans an didn't even bother to ask Sahil about the family and Annika 's background while he was inquiring about the fear ? Why now when he has declared her his wife and playing these sexually tense games with her ? Giving her hope ? But thankfully Annika is different . She knows that SSO will resurface and it's gonna twist and kill her her insides . On the side note I just loved how she handled mahi today . She knows these type of men ... Has handled them single handedly like she claimed . She is such a dare devil .
And yes also I loved mahi today . His childlike questions to why the difference ? Why he is exempted from the love and luxuries that shivaay has ? What wrong did he do ? It did pull at my insides . There are so many people like these in the real world and very few like shivaay who has everything . And that makes me feel bad for mahi ! Oh ! How I wish shivaay comes out of his castle in the faraway land and see the real world . World where People like Annika and mahi exist .
Ps - sorry for the long lost . Just couldn't contain my thoughts .i have been privy to so many posts made by you ppl and being so affected like me . This show has definitely taken a toll over us . Thanks you all for keeping this forum alive and entertaining . 👏
