Part 2

Geeta reached Khurana constructions and ceramic where she'll be working as Junior Architect and assistant to the MD.

She came to the reception from where she was directed to the MD's cabin immediately.

She knocked the door... asking permission once permitted she entered inside.

Good Morning Sir she wished the MD who was probly in his late 20's. He looked soft and composed.. and had an Aura that Geet respected.

Very Good morning Ms. Geeta.. so all set for ur job he questioned her ... as he buzzed someone..

Im ready sir replied an excited Geeta.

Good... our old PA Mrs. Lakshmi will explain abt the personal works ull be doing and Ms. Lakshmi will brief u abt our clients and architectural works.

U can clear ur doubts from them ...

Yes sir ...she replied..

Our company has certain rules and punctuality is must. He told her some other things abt the office and its working methods.

Geeta was making mental notes of these.

While she was listening a young women of late 20' walked in..

Dev. introed both

He started giving instructions to Lakshmi. Mrs. Lakshmi till u be her update her with our office rules and other stuffs..

Now you both can leave..

Lakshmi gestured Geeta to follow her...'

They went to Lakshmi's and to be Geeta's cabin... Lakshmi taught her each and every thing related to the office.. and scheduling meetings and other stuffs..

Geeta at once liked Lakshmi as her persona and professional behavior attracted her very much.

Geeta grasped everything she could and asked dbts where she couldn't understand.

Lakshmi was telling abt the company and the MD's which caught Geeta's attention as she mentioned MD's in plural and Geeta asked about that...

Till now what Lakshmi was telling was office related stuffs but what she said later made her think..

Lakshmi: Geeta... Khurana constructions was started 10yrs ago as a small ceramics company and later it started developing into what its now all thanks to Mr. Yash Singh Khurana.. he saw all the ups and downs of the company and with the help and support of his family he reached to heights in no time... Though they are from North they settled in Chennai and they consider Chennai as their second native.. Both junior Khurana's completed their education here and Dev Khurana is also married to a girl from Chennai and when Mr. Khurana announced his retirement...his sons took in charge of Khurana constructions. Both Delhi and Chennai branch is Head office.

And the most important is this Chennai branch which is fully under Maan Singh Khurana.

Dev is handling Delhi Branch. Chennai branch holds important place all over the world in construction filed.

Maan Khurana is difficult to work with but once adapted to his style it would be a great experience you'll understand it as time passes.

Since he is out of station to sign some project Mr. Dev took your interview.

I'm telling this to you not to scare you but just giving a small advice as Dev's working style is different from Maan's

Geet: Do you mind if I ask u something..

Lakshmi looked at her nodding her head.

Why are you resigning your job..

Before she could continue Lakshmi cut her and said..

No Geet I'm not resigning I'm getting transferred to Delhi branch as my husband who is an software engg got transferred there.

Geet I'll be coming here three more days so ask me any doubts you have I'll clear it.

This also im telling you becoz...

Sollunga Akka ( Tell na di) she said in a flow as Lakshmi's free nature made Geet feel comfortable.

Maan Sir has given instructions to select women's of middle age but since no one was upto the point in the interview and you being the only one who had the required mettle Dev sir selected you and he might get angry so if ur work is perfect you'll be saved from his wrath.

Geet thought ( Oh so Mr. Khurana doesn't like young girls ..he seems Kadoos and now another baggage added to it .. hmm he seems interesting and mysterious to)

I Know girls there is less of Maaneet in here..but soon u'll get Maaneet scenes...

Chennai as a backdrop is gonna be much exciting. Waiting for Maan's entry...

Nice update. Missed maaneet moments in this update but it will be very interesting to see how the blend of north and south cultures meet and maaneet office moments are always a treat. Eagerly waiting for the next update 😛
