So I was wrong about Samay.. Maya did not pick his call back in the hospital and neither did she call him back.. Maya's world revolves around Arjun.. Samay is a dirt ..she treats him like a pest that she could trample upon and not care to look back.. in other words he doesn't exist for her.. not even after he supported her in the case against Ayaan.. I may be wrong in interpreting, but I thought I saw a fleeting glimpse of surprise on Maya's face when Maya's lawyer had asked for permission to present Samay in court.. How is it possible that her lawyer didn't discuss the case with Maya and she did not know that Samay will appear in court and testify in her favor ( almost ).. It appears Maya may not have yet turned to Samay for any help in any matter.. He is trying hard to reach out to her but she is not interested in him..at all..
Now today's episode, as much as I enjoyed Jen's antics as Maya, I thought it was like a filler episode that didn't add much to main plot .. Maya is trying to ''play'' with Vandana's mind as Saanjh thinks she would.. she's intimidating Vandana but I strongly feel this time she will get a major set back.. Vandana will stumble upon something that can take Maya down.. Jhanvi may join hands with Vandana too... Arjun may also realize that there was no rape attempt on Maya and she fabricated evidences ( CCTV cameras ) to punish him.. though I still believe what Ayaan did was wrong regardless but that's another story.. Here, I feel Maya will get trapped from all sides.. why?
1.) her overconfidence that she has everything under control.. CCTV cameras can be tampered with if someone is really smart.. I know Vandana isnt but you never know..
2.) Saanjh turning to god.. for whatever reason.. Maya is on her own- no ganesha, no one who she can fall back on if she falters.. no Samay and Arjun is..well.. he's not even able to help himself..
3.) Jhanvi - she may turn out to be more useful than going pe pe pe pe š
That's when I feel she will need Samay and he seems to be more than happy to get used by Maya .. Now this guy is getting reckless and I feel it won't be long before Saanjh finds out about him..
P.S- Jen had me smiling throughout her scenes with Vandana.. everything she said and did was hilarious.. comedy seems to come naturally to her.. one of the scenes I loved was her imitation of Vandana's stammer..š
