Ravish- Mascot of JNDSD
Ravish is the upholder of most fundamental principal of life - Humanity. His ability to rise n keep marching on in life every time it strikes him down, which happens with clockwork regularity! Marks him as the epitome of all that a human stands for n lives for- Life. He refuses to kneel down before the setbacks. He lets go of things which are not his n may consecutively hold him back, marking him a selfless.
He is selfless not because he is some kind of demi God or semi God or an epitome of the Almighty, no, not at all. It is his extreme self -confidence in himself n his abilities, his ability to gain on his own after every loss, that has made him selfless. Life fails to defeat him because he refuses to let life tragedies n disappointments conquer him. And they fail to conquer him because he has supreme conviction in his knowledge n power that he will rebuild himself. The thought of loss or hurt never scares him. It may disappoint him momentarily but he never lets them hold him back or make him weak. He never ever relies upon anyone else. Ravish has no external weakness. He has no insecurities, no self-fear. After every tragedy he quietly gets up n rebuilds himself. This self- knowledge is his most potent strength, which neither can be bought nor sold, neither shared nor destroyed.
He lives for the journey not the end, because the end does not bother him. Somewhere deep down he accepts that certain things are pre-destined, he has to give his best to everything he gets n enjoy the journey.
He is human, all the more because of the setbacks and as much as because of his success. He is desirous of love never acceptance, desirous of success but does not fear failure, respects the old yet ready to lead the change for the new. Seeks solace in the arms of his mother yet faces the enemy all alone without a thought of fear. He sheds tears on his loss and celebrates his success. Yes, he is more human than all other characters.
Ravish accepts his luxuries as needs of life yet never holds on to them nor unnecessarily sacrifices them to make a statement. He neither bothers to set himself as an example for others nor does he preach anyone. He simply leads his life to the best of his abilities. His wisdom to engage himself in others issues only when required but at the same time never get possessively involved marks his prudence. He lives for others yet takes care of his own, makes him more human than all others.
Ravish is highly independent yet respects company of others. He is very social, engaging, not very loquacious however good conversationalist, a total family guy. He keeps falling in love n out easily and romances fantastically with his eyes, all the time. No, he does not believe in solitary living nor is he an ascetic.
The propinquity of other characters to extreme self-centredness n high dependence upon each other to achieve some degree of self - independence hampers their self-ability, disabling their securities n hence making them damaging n detrimental for others. The opposition party may jump up n down at this but the fact is that marking any of them as a mascot is like appointing Salman Kahn the brand ambassador of the Indian Judiciary!!! Touch'e but truth.
Time n again Ravish has had to bless all of them with his 50 shades of Aap Rest Kijiye' for their very own and the family well-being!!
What is a mascot? It is a symbol, icon, representation, a talisman, a brand ambassador, sometimes a good luck charm.
Ravish stands for the most fundamental principal - Humanity - highest religion, greatest love n biggest duty'.
So yes, Ravish is the true n only mascot n icon of JNDSD. Ravish we celebrate.
Respect humanity, all other issues like age, caste, creed, gender, religion, etc. get automatically taken care of.
