I think so mostly people r disappointed because they were expecting shivaay's confession in hospital and his dard to be shown.

His dard was shown in today's epi but still they were expecting it in different way.

Anyways nice analysis..Epi was not bad its just editing was bad.

It was an okay episode for me, personally. I think had I been expecting less, I would have probably liked today's episode a lot.

It's their fault. They shouldn't have toyed with us since Wednesday last week with that stupid promo. We should have known that just blandly shouting "ANniikkaaa!" was ALL SHivaay was going to do...😆.. 5 day's expectations went up in a giant cloud of smoke... I won't lie, my first reaction to the episode was

What spoiled it for me, as is always the case with Ishqbaaaz, is that the jumps are just too huge too look over or ignore. Everything before the ShivIka scene seemed like a bunch of scenes thrown together.

I realized that shooting actually stopped last week Wednesday midnight when they were outdoors for that garden scene at Madh Island. It probably literally stopped at carrying unconscious Annika, and NM left for his vacation. When resumed, they were shooting the bedroom scenes. It was logistics.

They could've looked a little more upset that she was hurt. Firstly Shakti and Pinky had this W*F is wrong with her expression as she ran to him. That spoiled the dramatic 'Shield of great wall of SSO' moment for me. She fainted, he yelled, and they just carried her in like she had broken her ankle or something.

Then they used Rudy to tell us that Shivaay had been aggressive with the doctors and was beside himself with worry over her blabla...

Meh.

When I think about it , I get pissed. This girl keeps giving and giving to this family. And Pinky had to choose THAT time to assert her maternal rights over Shivaay. So many plot holes. Why did Rudra bring Sahil back and left him alone like that?

Where was Saumya? WHy no scene with Rudra?

If they had no NM, they could have just filmed the family fretting as an absent Shivaay argued with doctors, it was an opportunity to be creative, but they didn't use it. They could've had Rudra and Saumya have a scene discussing how dramatic Shivaay and Annika's relationship is, bla bla.

There were so many possibilities, and they used that Kal Ho Na Ho song , with no expressions whatsoever on the Oberois' faces as they carried her.

*Sigh* Rant over* yeah I had grouses too.

but that Sahil Shivaay scene was beautiful. I didn't think it was OTT, SHivaay is OTT like that, he was terribly upset and vulnerable, and couldn't hold back from Sahil. It was gorgeous. He was consoling Sahil, but the words were to convince himself. I teared up there , grown men crying is not a pretty sight, not meant to be.

In contrast, mature little Sahil stopped crying when he saw Shivaay crying, and consoled him instead. Telling Shivaay innocently, that nothing will happen to her, because God was kind, and wouldn't take his only family away.

Shivaay was promising his whole family to Sahil, but Sahil didn't look convinced. Don't get your hopes up little boy...😭

About NKK... I absolutely do not mind NKK being the track again. In fact, it's good that we're finally getting to the point. TBH, I'm glad the vamps MIGHT be kept at bay. and NKK had to be a track any way. the thing is... that scene (like many in today's episode) seemed off. And all of a sudden NKK again? So abruptly? Like, things were included just because NM was away and they had to show something regarding the next track. the way OmRu said it, they made it sound like it was still what Shivaay believes in even where Anika is concerned, even though his behaviour completely goes against it. Shivaay's all talking about dard and getting down and dirty with his biwi but here we suddenly have the "mother of my children" dialogue.

I take consolation in the fact ke it is just OmRu's opinion as of now and we're still in the dark about what Shivaay thinks and whether he's still stuck there.

I would like to say, though, that I still want to believe NKK alone will not be good enough to break ShivIka. It HAS to be something else combined with it. Else, all of Shivaay's progress would be negated without any justification and for no reason, at all. Where I think this is going, is that we'll now get to see uber romantic moments with Shivika, with Shivaay either on the verge of confessing or with sexual tension at its peak and then, BAM! A curveball will hit that either causes separation or heartbreak.

NKK took a break since Daksh's expose, and Shivaay's guilt. He still feels guilty for forcing Annika into marriage. This guy just stuck his head into the sand like an ostrich and is not facing any of the difficult questions Annika asked him, about their marriage.

I don't think he'll backtrack from his promises to her. He's still wildly attracted to her.

My theory is: Someone is going to come in between again (no, not Daksh , he's already overused), and force Shivaay to decide.

Quite frankly, I think Shivaay is a spoilt brat, who has had his way, and luxury of choice his whole life. He thinks he should have the luxury of deciding whether or not Annika is worthy of being his wife.

Darn it, I need him to see that he is not her only choice in life. She should have her own choices. I wish she wasn't so available to him all the time. *grumble*

Also, don't kill me. I love Nakuul Mehta. He's a terrific actor. But I couldn't relate to that Shivaay-Sahil scene because he didn't perform like I thought he should have. Overall, in the epi, he was good. Just that scene fell short. That's another reason why I feel the angst wasn't enough. The writing of that scene was terrific but the execution wasn't good enough to cut it.

It's okay. I found the way Sahil quickly stopped the crying , while looking at the visibly upset Shivaay, and consoled him really sweet. It was like the scene where Rudra consoled Annika in the hospital. Younger brothers are so sweet.

Also, now that we know for sure ke the DBO dialogue is very much relevant in IB land, as many of us guessed, Anika hears about it too. It's such a bhaaree bharkam thing to say and she needs to hear it, especially if it still holds true.

I enjoyed the ShivIka scene a lot. (Anika is high on her painkillers, right?) Want to keep my expectations low for tomorrow but kia kerain... 😆😆

I have literally no idea , so i didn't comment..😆.. But perhaps she was high on something and said a little too much, like SSO did a looong time ago, in a galaxy far far away. ANd he was just grabbing her to make her stop talking and go to sleep. Because he couldn't hide from her flirting any more...☺️

And I beleive, Omru's conversation was pivotal here, it actaully shows us that the issue is still very much there, and however much we may want it's NOT going to disappear until something monumental happens, and that's does not include his love realization.

I agree , they should have done better , even with that last shot of them all carrying her away. All their expressions were off, and killed the mood. They decided to use flashbacks and increased the emotional mood , but every single eye ball was fixed on Shivaay's face, and it was, well, Bland.😕 I think he stopped shooting at that point, and resumed after hols with the bedroom scene.

So can't blame them also. Short of time. Can be forgiven no? I'm sure they'll make up for it soon enough.

P.s It may be wierd, but I've been listening to the other janna song repeatedly, this weekend, and if you notice the last verse is kind of about speration and angst between the couple, and how love hurts. And in the story, they've only reached the second verse, so I do believe some major hard hitting scenes are coming up, sooner or later.

We've been waiting and waiting for them to have a separation track for ages, now people have even stopped wishing. Because Shivaay will never let her leave him, if he feels love or not. 😆

Believe me, I was typing as fast as I could last night, what with interruptions coming.. So many things to say and only finished so late. What with Harneet fighting with angry fans on my tweet..😆.

Seriously , people's ability to receive criticism is their own character trait, not a compulsory attitude. They shouldn't have gone after her , knowing she does not take criticism lightly. Why should she? Everyone has a right to feel sensitive of their work. She is a person too. Heck, if someone attacked me on my thread nitpicking on my writing, i'd be sensitive too.

Coming to the episode, I simply loved it. Whatever expectations I had from it, may not have been fulfilled completely, but the sadist in me is happy. I wanted to see a freaked out and emotional Shivaay and we got it and in such a beautiful way !! Honestly at this point Shivaay's melt down in front of anyone else other then Sahil would have been a let down. I just loved how Shivaay started to comfort and console Sahil and ended up being consoled by the little guy. It was beautifully done. The whole scene were written exceptionally well, and the execution was good, but NM looked really tired so the depth needed the scene was lacking a little but even then he got the job done, I felt his emotions and fear of losing Anika.

Shivaay breaking down in front of Sahil was a good call. They seem to be saving an ObBros scene for later on. This was a reverse of Rudra consoling Annika when Shivaay was shot. That was a beautiful scene too. Shivaay promising to be there for Sahil was a really touching moment. This was one of the big reasons that I don't think NKK will make Shivaay turn away from Annika, ever.

I feel, he will sort his feelings out internally, and eventually accept her unconditionally. But I fear, something will happen that will make Annika pull away from him. I watched an old episode where she was extremely hurt when he called her an opportunistic gold digger, out to catch a rich man. I cannot see that sentiment just vanishing with some smouldering hugs.

Pinky, what do I say about this woman? She is a typical insecure mother, and she is going to be a huge problem between Shivika soon, especially if NKK is the next up coming track. Before Tia and then Daksh were the catalyst for Pinky's disdain and hatred for Anika, but now that Anika has been cleared of all wrong doings in front of her, Pinky doesn't have any reason to hate her anymore, but she still does, because her dislike for Anika comes from a deep rooted fear of loosing her only son, and for that a mother never needs a reason to her hate her DIL. NKK will be a huge weapon for Pinky to use to create a rift between Shivika, especially if Shivaay's NKK issue is still deep rooted in his mind, which I feel still very much exists.

I tried avoiding discussing Pinky, but here I'll do it..😆 Pinky's scene was highly annoying. The girl just took a bullet for your son, woman !! Show some mercy!

Could she feel jealous because Shivaay cares SO much? A mom should be happy that her son has a wife who cares this much. how many times has she saved him? (vice versa of course)

Or was she just upset that he shut her out, and was seen weeping with Sahil? If he had sat with her and told her about all the roiling emotions in his heart, would she have sympathized? Or just dismissed it and talked about her own headache.

it is something though, Shivaay went silent after the incident. Not to OmRu, not his mother, not Dadi. Only to Sahil. Doesn't he think his family will understand his connection with Annika?

Another Q: Is Pinky ready to accept Annika as her Bahu? All she did was say sorry for the awful things she said, and thanks for saving SHivaay.

There was a spoiler few days ago about Dadi demanding a baby from Shivika and if that spoiler turns true, that would explain why Pinky turned insecure out of the blue again. If Dadi demands a child, that will definitely give a jolt to Shivaay, especially now that we know that Shivaay's conversation with Om in DBO was very much real. He sounded really worried because he knows Shivaay very well. They didn't add this conversation between OmRu to fill up screen space. Like you said Anika's heart is going to break soon. She is all in this relationship and doesn't feel she has to hide her feelings from Shivaay anymore thinking that he feels the same but is not admitting it because of his Tadi/Attitude. As far is Shivaay is concerned, he has always made decisions with his mind, but since Anika has entered his life, she has affected him so much that even though he wanted to think with his mind but since his misunderstanding of DDaksh got cleared he has always made decisions with his heart, because Anika has that affect and power over him. But even then he has remain cautious, because while he wants her all in, he takes a backward step when his feelings are questioned by Anika, like he did today. Which is why like you I want NKK to be the next track because realization for Shivaay without the NKK issue being resolved once and for all will be meaningless.

I dunno really, perhaps Shivaay's reaction to Dadi's well meaning teasing will put Annika on the defensive. But something is going to upset this cloud 9 dance they have been doing.

Coming to Shivaay's feelings for Anika, OmRu had different opinions, maybe because Omkara has already had a conversation with Shivaya regarding this earlier and he knows how stubborn Shivaay can be. On the other hand Rudy has been around Shivika more these days, and he has been witness to Shivika romance, so his confidence and faith comes from all the moments he and the family has been a part of when they saw Shivaay's feeling and attraction grow for Anika. I just wish Rudra was as confident and concerned about his own marriage and relationship with his wife. I hope we get a RumYa scene this week after all the trauma Saumya went through.

I hope Rudra gets time to deal with Saumya too. These two have been sorely neglected. It's TIME!!

Rudra seems to gain strength from Shivika. I haven't felt any feelings on his part for S since Riyaan last came to put on a ring for Saumya. That basketball in his face was something else !!😆

Mahi's fierce defense of Oberois and Shivaay is leading to him turning against Kamini soon. I hope its because he finds out that she isn't his biological mother and then he is Shivaay's twin for real and not just a look alike.

Yeah! Suddenly Mahi is super impressed with Shivaay's family and the love he gets. Kamini does not look too happy though...
