Felt like making a separate post today. The verdict if out after all.
Maya versus Ayaan - As of now, even after the verdict is out and Ayan Sharma has been declared guilty of attempt to rape by court, the opinions will be divided. In the precap, we see Maya smiling as Saanjh gets harrassed by the nari mukti morcha mahila mandali. That smile has made many of us think who were already in two minds about whether or not Maya is faking it. Here's how I see it .
No one is innocent in this case, neither Ayaan nor Maya. Ayaan was foolish and he paid for it. The CCTV footage that we all saw can not be over looked. He did cross his limits. I will not go into the details because it has been discussed in every thread. We also know that Ayaan had no intentions to rape Maya so in that sense yes he has been ''trapped'' in an attempt to rape case by Maya. Maya was ready for him, had he crossed his limits..and he did.. walked right into the trap. There were 10 other alternatives for Ayaan to get back at Maya, even get her to open the door, had he used his brain..but both brothers are alike -duffer! Where Maya played the game was that she made sure that she twists a case of physical assault to a case of attempt to rape. Unlike Saanjh, she had proofs to back her claim-CCTV, medical report , her and Samay's testimony. Now we can't say that medical reports were tampered with, because the scene where Ayaan intentionally or unintentionally bit her neck ( got disbalanced and fell on her with his mouth open and teeth out đ ) was shown for a reason.. that bite mark sure can have Ayaan's DNA..other marks on her body, I am not sure about..Ayaan looked tensed when she was beginning to unbutton and then was in shock himself when he saw the bruises.. Maya can inflict injuries, Arjun knows that yet he believes her? Injuries at the back of her neck.. could be done by Maya herself.. but the way they were jostling its easy to get those bruises from Ayaan.. so I will give benefit of doubt to Maya..
Maya made sure that this case becomes a case of sexual assault or attempt to rape by stating that she got injured in parts of her body that she can not show and that Ayaan wanted to strip her naked.. this is debatable.. but in court no one can refute her on this claim.. so she has an upperhand.. Though I still wonder why Ayaan kept on saying that he will make sure she's not able to meet eyes with anyone.. did he really want to strip her naked? not saying rape..was the tearing of clothes unintentional then? all these questions will remain unanswered.. open for debate đ
Saanjh versus yellow teeth lawyer
I would say Saanjh fought well with whatever ''evidence'' she had at her disposal. Actually without having any evidence supporting Ayaan's innocence in this particular case, she successfully presented a case where people were forced to think if Maya has indeed staged this entire case. She did what a defense lawyer would have done in her place, minus getting bit personal and OTT at times.. I am surprised she didn't look at the CCTV camera angle. So Maya broke all CCTV cameras so that no one knows she hid the keys and left the one in the hall where they had the final tussle ( for keys ). Samay hamesha sach ka sath deta.. he did as promised and eventhough Saanjh will be angry with him, he can save his ass by saying that someone tipped off the police and they nabbed him.. Saanjh will never come to know who that ''someone'' is..!!! In all probability its Samay himself. Medical report- that's where Saanjh faltered. She knew that a physical assault did happen, unless Ayaan completely lied to her so Maya can go for medical test.. its not a rape case ..its an attempt to rape case.
Yellow teeth lawyer finally spoke and how :) He had proofs to back his claims and hence the confidence.. some very legit arguments that impressed me :
1. Maya is mad, bad , loves her husband obsessively ..that's their personal matter ( yes ) but even a mad woman has a right to decide who can touch her and who can not.. good one sir!
2. Slip of tongue from Saanjh when she was on a backfoot - '' Par rape tau huya hi nahi na.. tau fir ye sab... '' No, you don't say that Saanjh. This is an ''attempt to rape case'' you are fighting. You will not wait for rape to happen to raise alarm or file a complaint- good point again sir!
Arjun Sharma and Samay Ahuja
This case was heavily loaded in favor of Maya..( stupid Ayan made sure of that ) but only a duffer like Mr Arjun Sharma can miss chance to connect bat with ball on a free delivery. The whole time he was in the witness box, he dug a hole for Maya and himself.. and Saanjh went on an on making a mockery of their marriage to prove Maya is mad and manipulative. Now while Arjun will get to romance with Maya, poor Saanjh will have to face the music ( precap )- Please don't paint her face black.. Would hate to see all that onscreen.. 𤢠On the other hand Samay Ahuja, makes a hero entry on the final day of court hearing and gives an unbiased honest statement of exactly what he saw knowing that it will help Maya win the case ( and him, her confidence ).. Looks like Maya and Samay worked in tango on this case.. him appearing at crime spot with police and then ''nabbed'' by police just on time before he caught flight? too much co-incidence..
Future
Maya got Arjun back .. Arjun? All the issues he had with Maya gone? how is the outcome of this case going to impact their relationship.. ? Arjun will cut off ties with fanily and friends again? Will Ayaan actually be in jail for whatever term he's been sentenced to? Is Saanjh going to try to dig into Maya's past as everyone is saying? Will she get to know about Samay? Is Maya going to give a chance to Samay now that he has proved his loyalty? Simone Singh's entry is also gonna spice things up hopefully.
