Felt like making a separate post today. The verdict if out after all.

Maya versus Ayaan - As of now, even after the verdict is out and Ayan Sharma has been declared guilty of attempt to rape by court, the opinions will be divided. In the precap, we see Maya smiling as Saanjh gets harrassed by the nari mukti morcha mahila mandali. That smile has made many of us think who were already in two minds about whether or not Maya is faking it. Here's how I see it .

No one is innocent in this case, neither Ayaan nor Maya. Ayaan was foolish and he paid for it. The CCTV footage that we all saw can not be over looked. He did cross his limits. I will not go into the details because it has been discussed in every thread. We also know that Ayaan had no intentions to rape Maya so in that sense yes he has been ''trapped'' in an attempt to rape case by Maya. Maya was ready for him, had he crossed his limits..and he did.. walked right into the trap. There were 10 other alternatives for Ayaan to get back at Maya, even get her to open the door, had he used his brain..but both brothers are alike -duffer! Where Maya played the game was that she made sure that she twists a case of physical assault to a case of attempt to rape. Unlike Saanjh, she had proofs to back her claim-CCTV, medical report , her and Samay's testimony. Now we can't say that medical reports were tampered with, because the scene where Ayaan intentionally or unintentionally bit her neck ( got disbalanced and fell on her with his mouth open and teeth out 😕 ) was shown for a reason.. that bite mark sure can have Ayaan's DNA..other marks on her body, I am not sure about..Ayaan looked tensed when she was beginning to unbutton and then was in shock himself when he saw the bruises.. Maya can inflict injuries, Arjun knows that yet he believes her? Injuries at the back of her neck.. could be done by Maya herself.. but the way they were jostling its easy to get those bruises from Ayaan.. so I will give benefit of doubt to Maya..

Maya made sure that this case becomes a case of sexual assault or attempt to rape by stating that she got injured in parts of her body that she can not show and that Ayaan wanted to strip her naked.. this is debatable.. but in court no one can refute her on this claim.. so she has an upperhand.. Though I still wonder why Ayaan kept on saying that he will make sure she's not able to meet eyes with anyone.. did he really want to strip her naked? not saying rape..was the tearing of clothes unintentional then? all these questions will remain unanswered.. open for debate 😊

Saanjh versus yellow teeth lawyer

I would say Saanjh fought well with whatever ''evidence'' she had at her disposal. Actually without having any evidence supporting Ayaan's innocence in this particular case, she successfully presented a case where people were forced to think if Maya has indeed staged this entire case. She did what a defense lawyer would have done in her place, minus getting bit personal and OTT at times.. I am surprised she didn't look at the CCTV camera angle. So Maya broke all CCTV cameras so that no one knows she hid the keys and left the one in the hall where they had the final tussle ( for keys ). Samay hamesha sach ka sath deta.. he did as promised and eventhough Saanjh will be angry with him, he can save his ass by saying that someone tipped off the police and they nabbed him.. Saanjh will never come to know who that ''someone'' is..!!! In all probability its Samay himself. Medical report- that's where Saanjh faltered. She knew that a physical assault did happen, unless Ayaan completely lied to her so Maya can go for medical test.. its not a rape case ..its an attempt to rape case.

Yellow teeth lawyer finally spoke and how :) He had proofs to back his claims and hence the confidence.. some very legit arguments that impressed me :

1. Maya is mad, bad , loves her husband obsessively ..that's their personal matter ( yes ) but even a mad woman has a right to decide who can touch her and who can not.. good one sir!

2. Slip of tongue from Saanjh when she was on a backfoot - '' Par rape tau huya hi nahi na.. tau fir ye sab... '' No, you don't say that Saanjh. This is an ''attempt to rape case'' you are fighting. You will not wait for rape to happen to raise alarm or file a complaint- good point again sir!

This case was heavily loaded in favor of Maya..( stupid Ayan made sure of that ) but only a duffer like Mr Arjun Sharma can miss chance to connect bat with ball on a free delivery. The whole time he was in the witness box, he dug a hole for Maya and himself.. and Saanjh went on an on making a mockery of their marriage to prove Maya is mad and manipulative. Now while Arjun will get to romance with Maya, poor Saanjh will have to face the music ( precap )- Please don't paint her face black.. Would hate to see all that onscreen.. 🤢 On the other hand Samay Ahuja, makes a hero entry on the final day of court hearing and gives an unbiased honest statement of exactly what he saw knowing that it will help Maya win the case ( and him, her confidence ).. Looks like Maya and Samay worked in tango on this case.. him appearing at crime spot with police and then ''nabbed'' by police just on time before he caught flight? too much co-incidence..

Future

Maya got Arjun back .. Arjun? All the issues he had with Maya gone? how is the outcome of this case going to impact their relationship.. ? Arjun will cut off ties with fanily and friends again? Will Ayaan actually be in jail for whatever term he's been sentenced to? Is Saanjh going to try to dig into Maya's past as everyone is saying? Will she get to know about Samay? Is Maya going to give a chance to Samay now that he has proved his loyalty? Simone Singh's entry is also gonna spice things up hopefully.

Without taking any sides, leaving the show and Maya aside for a moment, want to highlight this dialogue. It applies in real life as well. I will be really sad if in the end, they show Maya staged such a serious crime. (It is still not clear yet, let's wait till Monday, Maya can be smiling because that's how she is, ...Saanjh tried humiliating her and she won later on)

Even a mad/bad women has the right to decide who can touch her and who cannot.

I hope Ayaan doesn't commit suicide. he committed a mistake in anger and drunks state.. Judge didn't even say how long is his jail term? I don't know if its possible legally but I hope Maya takes her complaint back..

See the problem with this case was that the defense lawyer made it into her own personal revenge game. If Saanjh had used some brain and had kept away her personal OTT questions then Ayaan might still had a chance for a lighter punishment. Punishment for the crime he actually did i.e., physical assault. Yes Ayaan's crime was that he assaulted Maya and not attempt to rape.

Saanjh went overboard with her personal questioning and slinging mud at ArYa's marital life. That gave the prosecution a chance to disprove all her claims.

Maya's lawyer was pretty good today. The guy spoke what he should speak like a professional lawyer. He did his job very nicely. He gave the court medical proof, CCTV footage and also an eye witness. He used Saanjh's stupidity to his benefit. I feel bad for bashing him yesterday.

Samay told everything he saw and didn't say even a single thing he didn't see with his own eyes. So I'm going to believe Samay's version of the story i.e., Ayaan physically assaulted Maya. Nothing more nothing less.

Many are saying that Maya staged the whole thing. What i think is that she planned a bit of it and Ayaan's actions and Saanjh's stupidity added fuel to fire. Whatever Maya said inside the court felt genuine to me. Even her expressions and her happiness for getting justice felt real to me.

Now what happened outside the court is an entirely different thing. That can be Maya's planning or cannot her planning too. There are two possibilities for that:

1) Maya taking revenge from Saanjh for publicly humiliating her both inside and outside the court. Saanjh did deserve it after that overconfident byte she gave to media against Maya.

2) The whole thing happened by itself without Maya's involvement and Maya just smirked seeing Saanjh's condition.

Ayaan had lost the case the moment he touched Maya. Arjun had warned him, don't touch her she will ruin you. She did..but Ayaan was the one who set the ball rolling.. he should not have manhandled her to get the keys.. Saanjh lost her rationale of looking at this case from sheer evidence point of view the minute Arjun stepped in to defend Maya.. Ayaan also did not give her a blow by blow account of the incident. She should have looked into the CCTV footage herself.. gone through the medical report herself.. these are proofs that the verdict will be based on not perceptions even if they are true.. Saanjh did best she could under the circumstances but her inexperience and inability to foresee things cost her hugely..

What we saw in precap is half information.. It could be like you said, Maya's personal revenge against Saanjh .. Saanjh went overboard with her personal remarks and jibes and Maya will get back at her for that.. I don't think cv's will clarify .. Opinions will remain divided on this depending on how you want to see things..

I think he will coz he is very weak

maya has tarnished his name now

he won't be able to handle all the humilation made by the media and his fiancee

he was wrong in behaving with maya rudely and saying those words

he misbehave with her yes but he never wanted to attempt rape on her

I think anyone who don't know maya clearly will believe her

Coming to the post.

I don't think maya staged this rape attempt completely because rape is a sensitive issue which is a hot topic in our country & if makers go that way then public will throw chappal at them. I think the attempt to rape is what it is & it's all true marks on her body.

Second thing is maya tried to safe the keys inside her blouse but she didn't expected ayan to physically assault her & tear her clothes and fall on her to take that keys is what I feel.

But ayan was drunk and in his out of mind state he did something he shouldn't to a woman. But he didn't wanted to rape her though. But whatever physical assault he did is wrong.

And from the court drama where maya stripped her clothes and shown her eyes were speaking truth. She really felt dirty is wt I feel.

But when she was going in car I even agree with u maya was smirking at saanjh state as she was humiliated by her in court but not bcz she faked the entire thing.

I agree. This is a very sensitive issue that should be dealt with a lot of caution.. more than her tears and stripping etc what moved me was when she told Saanjh that '' every woman whether she is a corporate shark or a homemaker has the right on her body.. she is the one who decides who can touch her or not '' something which her lawyer also emphasized on later.. THAT is where she won the case for me.. THAT is where Saanjh faltered..She somehow refused to look it from that angle.. Ayaan had no right to assault Maya ( pulling hair, jostling ) even if it was to get the keys.. Saanjh had said anyone in place of Ayaan would have done that.. NO, absolutely not..!

As far as framing goes, I am finding it difficult to believe that Ayaan wanted to rape Maya.. he wanted to shame her yes.. Maya felt threatened of rape.. is debatable.. Samay's timely entry with police is only a co-incidence? maybe.. hope cv's clear it out and don't keep us hanging like they did for the rest of the things that happened in the past..

I agree with you completely. Right now, everything is murky. We still don't know what happened exactly. But, both Ayan and Maya are far from innocent.

As for the episodes, I can only say that the courtroom scenes failed to impress me. No cross questioning.Prosecutor hardly said anything. The judge was like a cardboard. Petty name-calling and personal digs at each other. It was nasty and not in a good way. So, what now?

Arjun and Maya being mushy-mushy again...so not looking forward to that. 🤢

Samay and Maya (SaMaya) on the other hand. Now, that's something to be hopeful for.😳 I love their scenes together. Two very intriguing and eccentric characters. Their relationship dynamics is utterly unique. Simone Singh is entering the show...I hope its true and not a rumor. I like Simone Singh ever since I watched her in Being Cyrus. She was also in the Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham right? I wonder if she is positive or a negative character.
