Maan and Geet returned from diner . "Tomorrow is a Sunday , you want to go anywhere", He asked once they entered the living room. His phone rang and he attended the call, "Hello"."Where are you, I'm missing you", A female voice came from the other side . Maan sighed, "I'm not coming back Sameera, you know that". "Then I will be there in sometime", She said making Maan stunned . He did not like her presence so he lied, "I'm having a business meet starting tomorrow"."Then I will be there after it is over", She said . "Listen Sameera , we have been through this, I'm living with ...", He could not even complete when she cut him, "Geet, I know , Yash bhai told me everything and also that she is really pretty". He got irritated and got up to go to the garden, where he yelled at her, "If you are done with your assumptions , then put down the phone , how could yo...", she again cut him, "How could I..Maan how could you , you don...", She could not even complete when she heard of the call being disconnected. "You might have disconnected the call Maan , but you could not get rid of me that easy, I'm not going to let you live alone with a girl ...esp her...", She said.
Geet came back with coffee for him and hot chocolate for herself. "Is Sameera Di that bad , that you are yelling at her , you should apologize", She said quietly . "She is not a bad person Geet . Shes just stubborn, she has very pure heart but that has been masked by her stubbornness to get me . I'm not an object", He sighed frustrated . He knew Sameera was a good kid but she is been spoiled by her Dad who instead of making her understand, he supports her in this one way trip on her love for him . "I think you should still apologize, you yourself said she is a nice person", Geet again tried to tell him. "Okay , don't worry about that, so did you give that person a chance", He asked diverting the topic. "I'm thinking to, he is a very nice person , always helpful and kind and has a good reputation too. But what if he hates me after knowing ...", She stated but Maan hugged her .
"Remember Geet , not every person is affected by anyone's pasts , and I'm sure he won't leave your side even after knowing something that painful as it was never your fault , it's mine as I could not come and get you in time", He said deeply regretting for not coming earlier. Geet looked up , "No it is not your fault , Yash bhai told me how you struggled to come back to get me , I'm really happy to get my family back".Maan was relieved seeing her smile. They retired to their rooms after a while of talking .
A week later , Maan prepared lunch for her and told her to share it with her team mates as she told him that the sports meet is coming up in their college and she is participating too. "Okay, then have this you need to eat a lot if you want to win , I wish you luck", He said handing over her lunch . Geet was participating in a Tennis mixed double and her only teammate was Dev , who again asked her out and asked will she go out if they win the match. Maan looked at the table and saw she left her notes so he went to give it to her at her school with Yash . "Maan , isn't that Geet", He said pointing in a certain direction . Maan looked on to see Geet sharing her lunch with a boy , whom he recognized the one to be who bought flowers for her. "What is she doing now", He hated to eavesdrop but something in him made him to go there. "Here have this , it is homemade, this huge lunch is for me and my guardian asked to me share it with my teammates", She said forwarding her lunch .
"I did tell her to share with her team not only this punk", Maan mumbled . "Thank you Geet , but we are taking part in mixed doubles so its only two of us", Dev said taking the food from her lunch box. "Let's go Yash", He said dragging Yash away who looked at his friend amused . "Are you jealous that now you have to share her with that boy", He said . Maan glared him , "I think you and your sister need a doctor to get your brains checked , why do you think I would be jealous". Yash sighed, "Don't you want to at least watch her play , I heard the other students talking that these two made it to the finals". "Really , that's great , surely I would love to watch her play", Maan said excitedly. They went to the court where the finals were held. Geet was serving the ball, her opponent returned it with equal force but Dev handled that well. Maan was impressed watching them play , both of them have really worked hard and it showed in their match , he remembered his college days where he was an all rounder and the school's sports captain .
Maan heard a scream and it looked like Dev was badly injured and his glasses broken , Geet looked at him and saw his forehead was bleeding she panicked with tears in her eyes , Dev tried to calm her down, "Hey Geet it's okay I'm fine , let's finish the game". "Have you lost it you are bleeding and you care about this stupid game", She yelled not knowing how to show her concern . "Do you have any replacements", The referee asked. "We don...", She was about to complete but was shocked to see Maan there volunteering. "What are you doing here", She asked annoyed. "Helping you", He said plainly. "You are not a student guardians are not allowed to help, and do you even know this sport", She said. "For your kind information , I am an all rounder", He said proudly . Geet gave up and they finished the match winning it but then their cover blew up and they had to forfeit leaving Geet embarrassed and glaring at Maan .
Geet ran to Dev after the match was over , "Sorry , we could not win , I guess...I have los...". "You win , I like you to Dev", She smiled making Dev blush a little.
Maan looked on the duo and walked away having mixed emotions, while Yash looked at the retreating figure of his friend and then looked at the couple ahead.He went after Maan . "Now let's get you to the doctor", She said. "I'm fine", He said but Geet glared at him and he complied to her wish . The doctor checked him to see he was fine making Geet breathe a sigh of relief . Naina watched not happy to see them smiling and plotted something . "Oh Geet, let's see how Dev loves you after seeing these pics and how the school loves you now. Thanks to the jealous idiot who loves Dev who got me these pics of you , I will destroy your happiness", She laughed evilly . Dev dropped Geet to her house where Maan was waiting for her .
"Geet, I have to go on a business trip and you are coming with me", He said dragging her . "Hey wait , why do I have to join you in your business meet", She spoke annoyed .
"You still owe me an explanation as to why you were there , you made me embarrassed, you know that", She complained pouting . "You can complaint later but now we have to evacuate", He tried to drag her again , but she was annoyed and pushed him making him land in the arms of a young and beautiful lady who just entered their home.
"I never thought , you are missing me so much Maan that you would run into my arms like this"."Let me go", He said trying to get out of her tight hug while Geet watched on with an unknown emotion . "Oh you must be Geet . Aww you are so cute and Yash bhai was right you are really pretty", She spoke moving up to her dropping Maan on the floor with a thud. "Thank you , are you ...", Geet started but was cut by her , "Yup , you guessed it right , I'm Sameera", She smiled.
