The secret which only Maya and her mother know. She has a murderous streak and murdered some.

As she is extremely possessive, there is a possibility that she murdered her own sibling who is getting some attention from her mother.
She might have harmed her own father for sharing her mother with him.

And Ashwin enters who is more than a match for Maya to handle. And he also wants the property.

Maya meets Arjun and there are murders.

If she can kill goldfish, she could have killed a dog or a cat also. Or other animals.
