Okay, so I've been reading various topics slamming everyone from Maya to Saanjh, from Arjun to Ayaan and everyone else (except Samay 😉). The truth of the matter is that nobody is right in this show. Isn't that the whole point? Maya is not the typical obsessive lover, Saanjh is not the typical girl next door/best friend; Arjun is definitely not the typical bad boy turned great lover or good boy/lead and Ayaan is still the immature one. IF you think about it, everybody is grey. I know ppl are calling Saanjh evil coz of what she did today but to my thinking, she did what any good lawyer would do to save their client. I think in the whole rape situation, Ayaan was definitely in the wrong for tearing clothes and biting bt I have a feeling that MAya is also extending it more than what it actually is. Saanjh was def not a run of the mill best friend considering Arjun's way of treating her. She was way more into the friendship than him but I wouldn't go so far as calling her obsessed or chipkoo coz I've seen several other shows where the leads devp "best friendship" for sooo long before they finally realize they love each other. I've seen this kind of dependence and closeness between those leads. The problem was that Arjun wasn't as devoted (not in a bad way) as Saanjh was (mostly coz of her love).
All said and done, the reason why we like the show is because it's not like the other run of the mill shows. It's different in that all the characters are real and flawed. Situations are obviously exaggerated and to that, the reactions are heightened but it's def more fun to watch grey characters interact rather than watching just good characters. I think instead of judging the characters, we should just wait and see how this whole situation/show plays out since it is a finite series. I'm really curious to see where it all ends.

Side note: Other than Kushal (not a big fan), I think both the female leads, Jennifer and Aneri, are doing fantastic in their roles. I'm particularly liking Aneri specifically coz of the graph of the character. It's nice to see her soo strong but in a totally different way than her character Nisha regardless if she's right or wrong or a little bit of both.
