why leap so early????

today I saw the news of nikitin dheer approached for the role of adult bajirao...but I don't get it why they are even thinking of adult bajirao so early??

the show is not even 3 months old...and they r talking about the leap...

the young bajirao rudra soni is doing a mindblowing job...he is acing the character...and he can do even better in the future...so I don't think the need of replacing him so fast...

some important things r ought to be shown before the leap:
1.shahuji getting released from the mughals and becoming the leader of Marathas...(which I think happened when baji was 9)

2.balaji becoming the peshwa

3.baji and kashi's marriage(according to some sources baji married kashibai when he was 10 or 11)

4.baji's first battle when he was only 12

these things should be shown properly without any rush...

if the channel thinks that taking leap will increase the show's trp then I don't think it is a good idea...famous historical shows like maharana pratap , ashoka samrat had witnessed a huge drop in their trps after the leap...

as it is concerned about nikitin playing the lead...he is surely an excellent actor...but baji was 19 when he became the peshwa...so nikintin will look a bit older...I also think ashish sharma will also be older for this role...they should cast an actor who is less than 30 years...they can also cast a newcomer...

so it was just my review...does anyone agree with me?

for nikitin or ashish their just started for grwon up baji

so there will many options

I agree with your viewpoint.

They should continue to use Rudra. They can make him look like a 19 year old. They can replace him much later in the show.

I don't think leap will happen for 2-3 months atleast, as you wrote so many important events need to be shown.

However, historical shows need some preparation and they will have to start casting for various roles not just Bajirao. Chimanaji Saheb 😆, Bhiu, Anubai (second sister), Shahuraje and Shivaraje and of course Nasir. All will be important characters and maybe their casting will depend on who will be cast as Bajirao.

Sometimes taking a leap after too much time might prove counterproductive. Ashoka, some felt leap was too delayed and viewers got too attached to Sid.

I used to watch both MRP and CAS and didn't watch after leap. Didn't watch MRP because I didn't think Sharad was correct choice for MRP. Real MRP was a towering physical personality and actor cast to play appeared puny! He didn't feel like MRP.

CAS they ruined the serial by making it about Ashoka Kauravaki and not about Ashoka.

I am watching PB for Bajirao's life and his story NOT for watching Mastani love story. If they turn it into Bajirao Mastani and turn Kashibai into vamp will stop watching. I am interested in watching Bajirao Peshwa and his warrior side his amazing succeses, not for his love life!

I agree with you Rudra is doing fantastic work, so is everybody else. Except for Kashi who was big fiasco in casting and character everybody is good.

Niketan Dheer might prove good choice, as LOOKING the part is also important, which MRP failed. Bajirao was a very handsome man and they need to cast someone who can portray 19-40 years. Casting someone young will be ideal but nobody comes to mind!

Let us see who all are cast but I think Niketan Dheer might be good option. Ashish Sharma no because he doesn't look the part. He doesn't have typical Bramhin fair light eyed look.

So guess we have 2-3 or more months till leap.

Yeah. We need a actor who can play 19-40 age convincing. Ashish is good as ram. But for Baji. No.
Niketan would be suitable for a 40 year old baji not a 19 year old one.
He is a towering personality.
I agree Cas and Mrp ruined after leap

i think there is still lot of time before leap , they might hv started looking for someone who can play bajji after leap because that particular actor too has to prepare himself for the role , all these casting & preparation procedures do take long time .
