The industry is not meant for people who want to stay peaceful. Peace chahiye toh idhar mat aao, sanyaas le lo (laughs). With multiple things happening, our lifestyle is maddening.

Ya I changed the heading because this line caught my attention and its actually right.I am so bored of this forum advocating calm and composure when an actor's job is to go crazy😆.Also its a new excuse for stiff and wooden actors-just be laid back,calm,composed and do not waste your energy😉😛

Both, that's the truth. Look at what Dangal (2016) has done. What does making lots of money mean for a film? It means that people are watching your film. But you can't force people to see a bad film just because it has made so many crores. If a film is bad, why would so many people watch it? A film that's watched by people in huge numbers is 100% good. It means something has clicked with the audience.

^^Interesting view point.Guess his selection of movies will also follow this principle.

Look like,he is gonna get married soon.I dont think Natasha can wait anymore😆.Hope he has though through the decision well.God knows what would erupt in shipper fandom😆

Pretty solid interview

I like his point of view. He comes of a less pretentious and more genuine about how he feels towards his film career

Thats just he being over dramatic😆.Maybe he gets a rise out of kiddo fans spamming his twitter account,asking for his return😆.Except for that line,a good interview😃

VD<3 my view on film os jus like him if a mov is making crores that means its good warna d majority wont watch it!

He knws d pulse of his audience n knws what they expect to watch in his movies:D

Guess the audience was suffering from low blood pressure when he was reading the script of Dishoom...hence the error in judgement

I believe that you can make whatever you want to but make it for the audience who'll understand it.

Like this line. Content, experimental films are super important but its necessary they be made in a way that won't go over people's heads.

Movie did make 70cr and 2nd highest viewed Indian film of 2016 on TV - can't be that bad aye. It was average at Box Office not a flop
