The only reason Shahrukh is still given a pass for playing a leading hero is because of his ability to grow a beard. The one time he showed up on screen without VFXing his face, he looked about 85 years old (in his cameo for ADHM) with his wrinkly beardless self and should've been playing Aish's father.
