Both of them reach Mumbai and go to Ashwin's place. The advocate comes to Ashwin's place and said, "There is no need for Arjun and Maya to go anywhere. Tomorrow is the court hearing."
Next day, everyone comes to the court. The advocate calls Vandana to give her statement.
Advocate: What did you see that day?
Vandana: That night, I saw a girl screaming for help in Karan's room. By the time I saw, I could not hear anyone screaming. I thought it is my illusion but when I decided to leave the house with Arjun, I saw Karan's dead body when the servant said Arjun has killed Karan. For that moment, I had suspected but I know that my Arjun cannot do such a thing.
The judge lets Arjun go.
The cops come to Vandana's house for the investigation and see a torn cloth of a white dress. They go to Saanjh's house and asked, "Is this torn dress yours?"
Saanjh looks at it and said, "No it is not a part of my dress. Anyway, I will show this to Arjun"
Inspector: Fine.
Saanjh goes in search of Arjun only to see him having some moments with Maya. The background song is

Arjun holds Maya. Saanjh pops out her eyes and stares at them.

Suman sees Saanjh and said, "Arjun does not love you. Why are you hell bent on helping him? He is only utilizing you. He only loves Maya."
Saanjh: Yes, he loves Maya but he definitely trusts me. He will definitely come to me someday.
The next day, Saanjh shows the cloth piece to Arjun and said, "There is a cloth piece of a lady in which there are blood stains. It was in Karan uncle's room."
Arjun: Thanks a lot. So this is one more clue where I can reach out to the actual killer.
The cops then catch hold of Prem and said, "You are Karan's killer."
Meanwhile, Arjun said, "I think Dr. Gandhi will be able to give the clear picture."
Arjun and Maya go there. Dr. Gandhi looks lustfully at Maya. He said, "Maya, can you get a glass of water for us?
Maya goes to get it.
Dr. Gandhi: If the cloth belongs to the girl, it looks like your dad must have definitely done something to that girl which led her to take such an extreme step. You can leave now. Nothing will happen to you.
Arjun: What about Maya?
Dr. Gandhi: She will follow you later.
Arjun gets a phone call. Saanjh had called him. Maya comes out. Dr. Gamdhi tries to molest her but Maya hits him hard on his head & escapes. She then meets Arjun. Saanjh gets a call from the police after hearing that he dad is the actual killer.
Maya: Looks like this girl definitely has some ulterior motive behind helping you.
Arjun: Nothing like that. I hope you trust me.
Maya: Yes, I trust you but I don't trust Saanjh. A wounded tiger is more dangerous than the normal one but I know that you won't leave me.
Arjun: If I leave you then?
Maya: Then I won't spare that person & you.
Arjun laughs: I was just kidding.
Saanjh goes to the police station where Prem is tortured. She said, "My dad is not a killer. You can't take him like that."
Suman comes: Prem was not in town when the murder took place.
Inspector: Leave him. Prem has not killed.
The cops keep torturing the innocent people. They reach Ashwin's place.
