annika has fought life all the time alone & now she doesn't have to do it alone ... just like SSO doesn't have to protect his family alone ... i know she started crying more but remember that she's in love ... hasn't SSO become more dependent on her ? yes he has ... in a big way ... so y her dependency seems wrong while his seems normal
this process of changing after love (or whatever the character was craving for) always annoyed me ... however, annika is still strong,independent and still has her characteristics with her and so does SSO ... i find that refreshing
p.s : this isn't about ur comment specifically but in general ... i always read how everyone is saying that SSO can't live without annika and is dependent on her & that's a good thing ... then y annika depending on him is a bad thing ?
i never said annika has changed in a bad way . I said i somehow cant digest the fact the way annika has changed from what she was shown before . And though i didnt mention it but shivaay has also changed .. But for the good . We didn't like the nkk ranting , arrogant billu .. Yes annika has changed him but for the better , he has become more sensitive , more expressive and less of a robotic nkk ranting machine . But can we say the same for annika ??
Annika before marriage :
Wild , carefree , independent , self respecting
Would fight the world for sahil
Would fight back if a finger was raised against her character : remember how she fought those goons and her neighbours who were targeting her character ?
Her unbreakable spirit , how she declared that she was unbreakable .. How life had thought her the lessons the hard way .. She never shed a tear in front of people ! Remeber how pinky had exclaimed "abhi tak nahi roi " . She had broken down only when she thought that shivaay had left , that's when she had let her guards down ( the rain sequence ) .
Annika post marriage :
Let me remind you again the circumstances in which annika was forced to marry shivaay . She was ripped off all the dreams that she might have had regarding her marriage .
Yes she is still carefree but outside the walls of OM or in the confines of their room . I dont think she is independent anymore . And there are way too many examples to give regarding she not standing up for her self respect . I know u r an avid watcher and u know the episodes and scenes too 😉
And about sahil . Oh god how it hurt me when the poor kid was blamed for robbery, pushed , called a handicapped , an omen. Did annika stand up for him ? She didn't even ackowledge his insult .. Coz then she had a bigger role of playing a bhabhi? A bahu... Hence my complaint regarding the lost bond . She has easily declared shivaay replacing him .. Of him being his priority now ? Did shivaay do that . He still makes her sacrifice for his bros and family ! Yes she is important to him and is his family but is she his priority ? I am not asking shivaay to choose between his bros and wife . But annika has already chosen shivaay over sahil . The cv 's could have atleast shown us a snippet of them playing holi .
Okay now her unbreakable spirit ? The annika i knew wouod never apologise unless she was guilty . Yet she touched dakh's feet ! Why ?? Beacuse she is the bahu now ? She didnt even retailate when daksh was throwing mud at her character .. She was silent .. She could have screamed , slapped him before shivaay 's insistence .
And let me not get started on her non stop crying !!
