Samay Maya's ex husband?

Ashwin was blackmailing Jhanvi and Maya about revealing something related to Maya's past.

There was something about maya's past that she had hidden from arjun. She also mentioned that no one would want to marry her after knowing about it.

May be samay couldn't bear a possessive wife and just left her and went away without trying to help her with what's troubling her. Just like arjun is doing right now.

Maya must have thought during wedding that if arjun comes to know why samay left her, he might not want to marry her and assume things and leave already.

Samay realized his mistake and returned to see maya and arjun are in love and are getting married. So he killed the pandit to make arjun get scared of maya. But it don't work and they abruptly decided to get married.

He killed ashwin to frame arjun and put him behind bars permanently but failed again. So now he has gone the dusky way with some really dangerous plan.

What do you guys think? I think he is definitely the murderer.

Why can't he kill Arjun, in stead of other innocent persons?
Well, even Maya, herself, if that is what his problem , really!

And if he kills arjun while Maya still loves him, Maya could kill herself, go mad or find out who killed arjun and destroy the person.

By the way, what was he doing all these 3 years? You are saying that Samay is in the know, from Mauritius days, isn't it?
What does he want or is waiting for? I hope, he too is not floored/fascinated by ArYa's chemistry and that is the reason he allowed so much of time for the couple to enjoy their married life(?)

It seems that Samay has dumped Maya and now he is jealous. I guess that fear made her a control freak.

But from today's flashback scenes it is clear that it was Maya who left him, where he was screaming don't leave him and go. So I think it was Maya who left him. Most probably Samay might be obsessed with Maya but Maya never loved him. Because Maya only knows the extreme ways. If she loves she loves beyhadly and if she hates she hates beyhadly. I think Samay is a male version of Maya. Had she ever loved Samay Arjun would never come into the frame. This is what I feel.

I believe Cvs are going to portray Maya as some kind of Sociopath, at some stage!
The very essential characteristic of such a sociopath is to choose a meek & pliable victim for his/her games!
A Sociopath will not like to pickup strong characters for his/her game!
So, choice of Arjun over Samay makes sense!
This also makes a point, Samay may not be a sociopath! But, may be a snake-charmer who knows his game while playing with such a dangerous snake!
