Badrinath Ki Dulhania Heads For 200 Crore Worldwide

Badrinath Ki Dulhania has grossed 195 crore Worldwide after 24 days and is looking at a 200 crore worldwide total by the end of its run. It will be the first time that a Varun Dhawan (solo) or Alia Bhatt film will cross 200 crore worldwide. ABCD 2 had grossed 158 crore while 2 States was 173 crore so Badrinath Ki Dulhania has comfortably beaten these two films. If we compare with films last year then it has beaten big films Housefull 3, M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story and Fan. Only five films in 2016 had a higher Worldwide total which were Dangal, Sultan, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Rustom and Airlift. The top Worldwide grossers this year till date are as follows.




1. Raees - 272 crore
2. Badrinath Ki Dulhania - 195 crore (still running)
3. Jolly LLB 2 - 181 crore
4. Kaabil - 148 crore
5. Phillauri - 44 crore (still running)

Raees remains the top Worldwide grosser by a margin at 272 crore but Badrinath Ki Dulhania has beaten the Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2 and the Hritthik Roshan starrer Kaabil by good margins especially the latter.

Multiplex contribute more for every film...mostly multiplex contribute 85% of the collection but a film that did very well in single screen..single screen will Contribute 25-30%,Multiplex 70-75%...in bkd case single screen contribute 20%
