guys, Im new to this forum, and I must say you guys have amazing theories, I have one too, so please bear with me cos this is going to be a long post lol. I love Beyhadh, I have been excited for it ever since I got to know that Jennifer Winget is going to star in it, and to crown it, Kushal joined the show as well, I loved this fresh pairing. So hear me out, and read this post from the start till the end.
WHO IS SAMAY?
I think Samay is indeed Maya's "sach" he is her past, if you ask me I think here's how the story went:
Samay was Maya's friend in the past who had become her lover later on. But due to Ashwin's constant nagging & his abusive nature, Maya got bitter, and she found solace in Samay. Samay later on somehow became obsessed with her & Ashwin's abusive behavior enraged him. Due to Ashwin always torturing Maya, both Maya & Jhanvi had to leave, hence Maya & Samay ending their relationship. But Samay got so awestruck that he started pursuing Maya helplessly. On the other hand, Ashwin also was obsessed with his greed for money & hence he kept nagging the mother-daughter duo. Samay later on became control freak & tried to take over her life just like her father, Ashwin, a frustrated Maya then attempted to kill Samay, knocking him unconscious, she thought he had died.
ASHWIN V/S MAYA
After this incident I guess Maya was utterly shocked & scared but at the same time all this de-sensitized her as well, making her distant from normal human emotions. She confessed about her crime to her mother, & Ashwin over-heard the whole story, assuming Samay is dead, he started threatening and torturing Maya & Jhanvi even more than he used to. He started calling her "pagal" & psycho & started taunting her & how insane and unstable she is. Jhanvi, realizing that this might ruin her entire life & cause people to think of her as a murderer & self-absorbed person left Ashwin for good only to be fooled by him on a regular basis, she started paying him a certain amount of money to keep his mouth shut. But greed got better of Ashwin as he wanted more. Jhanvi being the good mother that she is always tried to protect her daughter from anything harmful but it was a little too late since Maya had already become anti-social, insomniac control freak. Who only knew one way to love people: By controlling them. She hurt people before they could hurt her. In a fight the first person to cause a blow always seems to have an edge over the other one. Hence she started to control not only her employees but also her mother as she was well aware of Ashwin's tactics and how he could exploit her bholi, still in love with a monster mother. But at the same time she was scared for herself & her truth being revealed, hence the fear when Ashwin was around her.
ARJUN'S ENTRY
Arjun became a fresh breeze of air for her, he challenged her on every step & kind of helped her become happy & a little open about her emotions, she became attracted to him but her insecurities and her ego + her past traumas didn't let her digest the fact that she was able to make an exception, remember how frustrated she was at the fact that felt something for someone in such a long time? & how Jhanvi told her to forget her "past" and embrace Arjun? Why would Jhanvi compare her past to her current love life? Cause she DID HAVE A LOVE LIFE in the past? She was scared cause Samay's memories still haunted her and what she had done was unforgettable for her. But then Arjun supported her & helped her fight Ashwin off & when Ashwin realized that his plans are failing, he decided to go big or go home, he wanted to tell Maya's truth to the world & distant her from Arjun, remember how Jhanvi told her to tell Arjun the truth? & she was like "Woh Bhaag Jaega" did she meant that the fact she tried to kill Samay (her ex-lover) will cause Arjun to think he could be her next "shikaar"? When Maya finally wanted to tell Arjun (in that temple, where he was drunk) he stopped her & told her he doesn't care about her past at all, that caused her some relief.
ARYA'S WEDDING
A frustrated Ashwin who witnessed Maya giving away all her & her mother's property to Arjun caused chaos & decided to take extreme measures to hurt Maya & Jhanvi in the worst way possible, he kidnapped Vandana & decided to reveal Maya's secret, that she had been hiding from Arjun, but Vandana ran away at the last moment only to come back and find Ashwin is no longer there. Remember Vandana also accidentally was about to be hit by a car? Who was driving it? MY GUESS: Samay was driving it, Maya's past had come, all alive and dandy to stop the wedding. So he followed Ashwin & decided to end his game, cause being obsessed with Maya he didn't want Maya to suffer further at the hands of her father anymore. That's when Jhanvi made her entry at his house and he over-heard all the conversation and how Ashwin had been torturing her all this time. An enraged Samay (who is most likely a psychiatrist or a doctor or someone with medical background as many have said) stabbed Ashwin with a syringe as he knew that it would cause his fatality. He panicked after stabbing Ashwin & left the syringe at the crime scene, he figured it wasn't in best of his interests to make his entry as his arrival would not only shock the people but would also raise suspicion on him aswell.
POST WEDDING
To his dismay, Arjun & Maya got married & this was when he had to find a "pawn" to get into Maya's life, a person who is not only close to Maya but is also close to Arjun, a person who is vulnerable as well (Saanjh) he waited for the sahi "Samay" to make his entry into Maya's life. My guess is that after Arjun and his dhongi friend left the house, Samay paid a visit to Maya's house, only to be surprised by Jhanvi or somehow Jhanvi got to know that Samay isn't actually dead & was able to join the dots, she immediately phoned Maya & asked her to come to the go-down. Fearing for her life & Maya's she ran to a place she thought would be safer, she was probably chased by Samay hence she feared facing Maya & Arjun & thought of taking Saanjh's help. She couldn't tell the truth to Arjun as Maya had stopped her from revealing her past & she couldn't tell this to Maya either cause she feared her daughter will try to kill Samay (refer to the BTS where Kavita ma'am says "Jhanvi is afraid that if Maya gets to know the truth, she will kill the culprit hence she's avoiding her own daughter") but somehow Samay who is also in the go-down, gets hold of Jhanvi, remember how she talked to the murderer? As if it was a man instead of a woman? She was face-to-face with Maya's past and the person who practically ruined her life. Hence the dialog "Mujhe Laga Shaadi Kay Baad Sab Theek Hojayega" which in subtle form means that she hoped for Maya to forget her abusive past (her ex lover & her father) with the help of Arjun's love. He threatened her with a knife which caused her to fall from the balcony, Samay who now no longer had to worry about any witnesses was too careful to reveal himself at that time. As everything would have worked against him, hence he let Arjun fall prey but Maya came to the rescue by admitting that she killed Ashwin.
THE CURRENT TRACK
Now that Samay has seen that the "Samay" is right, he has decided to come back & get what he wanted (Maya's love) he used a vulnerable Saanjh to get close to Arjun & also convinced her to go back to her "past" as she cannot always run away from things. He has convinced her to get closer to Arjun so he can be updated about what Maya is upto now, knowing Maya is a control-freak and will suffocate Arjun, he has waited for their marriage to eventually fall apart & make his entry into Maya baby's life. Maya seeing that now Saanjh is back has become a lot more insecure than she already was and is doing what she does best: Controlling & manipulating Arjun. She would eventually get enraged and will become vulnerable, that would cause her to take extreme steps & would distant Arjun from her even more than she already was. Seeing the opportunity, Samay will now make his entry in Maya's life at the most auspicious "Samay".
SEASON 3
This is when ArYa will fall apart and Arjun will be living away from that cage that Maya created, it will be at this point that Maya will get to know Samay's real intentions (this will be probably when Jhanvi will come to her senses and tell Maya who the real killer is) & seek revenge for her mother's condition, her own mental condition and for Samay trying to frame Arjun in Ashwin's murder.
ENDING
She would most likely kill the guy seeing the right "Samay" & will finally seek help or maybe end up in an asylum or in a rehab center. Arjun might realize that the only thing Maya did wrong was loving him the wrong way and they might reconcile, and Saanjh will finally be able to move on and will probably do what she does best - helping people - she might also find love in Ayaan & get her duffer back as a friend like he was in the past. My guess is that she will play a very important role in the court drama that we'll be witnessing. Maya will definitely be remorseful for what she had done, and finally realize that her obsession & her mistakes (trying to kill Samay, controlling Jhanvi & Arjun, hating on Saanjh & being possessive) caused all the chaos & will likely reconcile with her God and maybe even Arjun who would realize that he only loved Maya all this time. Or maybe he & his Dusky will end up together and Maya will become stronger than ever, with the help of her mother. Jhanvi will become a stronger than ever kind of lady who might then help Maya not only take care of her mental health but also her business.
PANDIT & VIKRAM
Lets not forget the dear Pandit Ji who died in Mauritius, it is highly possible that Samay saw Saanjh, Maya & Arjun in Mauritius (probably cause he was working there) seeing Maya stormed him with the past & that's when he realized that he needs to have Maya in his life at all costs, seeing her closeness with Arjun, he maybe at that time started to plan how to break the duo's relationship, a devastated Saanjh was a great target, she could be easily used and manipulated as she loved Arjun so very much and was totally crushed when Arjun professed his love for Maya. He also probably saw Pandit Ji & Maya's face-off & was filled with rage which ended up with him killing the poor Pandit Ji, remember the other pandit said that the main Pandit died of natural causes? Maybe he killed him the same way he killed Ashwin (stabbing him with syringe - which is mostly undetected & makes the death look like natural). I don't think he injured Vikram, I think it was Maya who injured Vikram as he was a threat to Arjun, she pulled the hand brakes in order to "teach" him a lesson only to feel guilty about it in the end and paying for his hospital/medical bills. Or maybe the Pandit Ji died a natural death indeed, or maybe Maya had something indirectly or directly to do with his death.
I know it is a lot to process but this is my analysis on the upcoming story & the possible end.
