I am sure Karan Johar is more than ecstatic right now since he has finally taken Yash and Roohi Johar home. Karan's babies were in the hospital for a month after he publicly announced that he had become a father to twins - Yash and Roohi via surrogacy. They were premature babies and he took to social media to write an extremely heart - wrenching, emotional letter in which he explained how upset he was when he got to know that the babies were premature. After consulting the doctors and getting the right treatment, his babies are now all healthy and home. As soon as the first pictures of his babies came out, Bollywood celebs rushed to KJo's residence to meet his adorable babies. Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Manish Malhotra, and a few others were spotted outside the filmmaker's house last night. However, Karan's friends would still have to wait for at least a month before they're allowed to meet the kids. Turns out, the filmmaker has been advised to not allow many visitors to meet his babies because they're still susceptible to infections. His twins were prematurely born and spent seven weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Although the reports on their growth has been very positive, the doctors have still asked Johar to be extra careful. To avoid any complication, the doctors suggested him to not allow visitors, just yet. A special crib has been designed for the babies with nets so that they're protected from the bad air. KJo's kids, Yash and Roohi have shown tremendous growth. Dr Bhupendra Awasthi, who has been monitoring the kids' health stated that the weight of the kids has nearly double in the last 51 days. "They were two and half months premature and weighed less than 1.5 kgs. In the last 51 days, their weight has nearly doubled," said the doctor to Mid-day. He further added that the filmmaker might have to keep his social life low key and especially maintain less number of people around his kids to avoid infections. "Normally, babies have low immunity and in case of premature births, extra precaution is mandatory. Regular follow-up (check-up) us of utmost importance, so that we can monitor their growth. Deficiencies that they had during birth also need to be checked. We have fixed dates to conduct tests and ascertain their health. He (Karan) needs to keep a tab on number of guests he receives; the babies are susceptible to infection," said the doctor.
