Agreed. But did JW say it would be Maya's love?The plot of story talks about two shades of love. one is led by obsession and another pure or selflss love. It will be a Beyhadh twist if Maya's obsession suddenly transforms into pure or selfless form in the end! And, it will contradict the very first tag line " Hadh se jyadha . . . etc . . . etc ..., pyar bhi nahi'.

But maybe the point could be the too much love ended up killing her
And that she died for love and all
But I hope that doesn't happen
Cuz that would send the worst example out to the public
Showing that people like Maya either go to the mental hospital or end up killing themselves!
Which is why I sincerely hope that they show it in such a way that Maya loves Arjun so much that she tries to actually change herself
And mind you, but for a person like Maya to change won't be overnight
It will be a long process full of pain!

Precisely and that is why I called Beyhadh twist. Maya will remain Maya till the very end.No doubt! And I do not see her end as death. It is too cruel to call that way!. It is a redempion! A true liberation of troubled mind from the mortal human like Arjun who could not give love or even care when she needed most!. Her true savior will be her true friend whom she worshipped in the opening scene of first episode and got separated in the last scene of last episode of season one. Her final moments will in probability be with her true friend once again in the final scene of final episode. please don't call it as death. it is salvation of torured soul
