TV serials having good content worthy of silver screen

BW movies so melodramatic or with non-satisfactory-endings that can be extended to a years long Indian soap operas.

I don't know why but I would LOVE to see Fiza as a TV serial. There is just something about that movie that really draws me in, I think I really like the intensity of the movie and would love to see that in a TV serial if done the right way. And moreover, it has meaty female lead role which would be great to see onscreen. Karishma really bawled me over in that movie.

Powder, Khottey Sikkey, Mahi Way and Kismat from Yash Raj TV can be made into films.

Fatmagul is getting made into serial. But they Indian producers will murder the story and plot.

I want Ranjhana to be made into a TV show. Also Wake Up Sid.

Infact there are many films I want to see as tv shows. But hardly any serial that can be made into a movie.

There are many movies, which I'll like to see as a TV series because there are not many unique shows on Indian telly.
From the new movies, I think Pink, Piku, Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dear Zindagi. There are many ghisa pita shows on Indian television. So if some shows on the concept of these movies, then it'll be great. From the old movies, I think Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi can be turned into a show. Opposite attract love stories work on television. KHNH and K3G can be turned into a good family drama show.

From the TV serials, I think POW and 24 can be turned into a good movie. They have a good and strong storyline. Other shows like Beyhadh and Ishqbaaz can be turned into a movie. Ishqbaaz is one show, which actually had a very good concept on paper but the makers never did justice to it and turned into a typical saas-bahu drama. Waise bhi, family movies are dying in Bollywood.
