The only point I differ is any hostile takeover happens when the first offer to but is rejected ..
Here no offer was made .. hence Mehak's ek baar maang kar to dekhte is relevant ... and if it had to be hostile takeover ... why make it so personal as a marriage and get both families involved
Any ways my advice today to myself and all of us fans is obliviate ( jk Rowling isshtyle) and enjoy the current track

Tibs- I know what you mean.

I can stand a crooked hero but not a stupid one, 😆so I want to convince myself there was some reason behind his fakery. Him not even trying to make an offer rankled me.

I'm deluding myself into thinking he had read Mehak's attachment to her Mom's legacy and probably she wouldn't allow it to be commercially exploited like he does now and hence resorted to stealing her heart to walk away with the book.

Turning him into a chor would've made perfect sens, if they had shown him as a ruthless business man who wins at all cost and the rivalry between him & KD was hyped.

Anyway, I've managed to convince myself and am enjoying the current track.😆
