First of all this was a joke, Swara already clarified this, but since no other publication followed up on the story you didn't see it anywhere. PV followed it up with Swara on this:

"When we contacted Swara to know the truth behind the reports, she said, "It was jokingly offered to me... The report is a conversation between Shahrukh sir, Aanand Rai sir and me from Aanand sir's bday party. The role was offered in banter and jest and turned down in seriousness.. :) That's all!"
