Dev's behaviour is disgusting. Repeatedly he has seen how his mother lies and yet he behaves badly with Sonakshi. What kind of father will he be to his daughter? A man who ties up her mother, sneaks into the house, one who does not stick on his word.
This Dev is not the one Sonakshi should go back to at all. How can she even feel attracted to him? There is nothing in this man that is remotely attractive at this point. He needs to redeem himself.

Of course, she told him her dad was upset and she will say when the time is appropriate. Yes, he asked her to come back and she said please give me some time, I will be back. So is he wrong for not giving her time or she for asking time?

I brought up Elena bacause he qualities were closest to what you asked of Sonakshi.

Here's my philosophical take:
Dev kept looking for happiness outside - in women, alcohol, Golu - and he is still looking.
Sona's quest for happiness was within herself and hence she has a little Suhana.

Probably you are right, its hard to imagine Dev and Sona having a romantic relationship with someone else and there is only so many actors the production house can afford! So easier on our eyes and their pocket if these two get together 😛

sorry, have to disagree here, for me Sona has been very cold towards Dev in that phase...

@bold : Dev never knew what is real happiness.. he just started figuring it out with Sona, for him happiness means being with sona...

yes, Sona knows how to be happy with in herself as she was brought up with less burden and in a more sane environment...

Looking at how their relationship is right now.. if they get back together it will only be for Soha's sake. And that's not a good enough reason. Sonakshi still seems to want an amicable approach.. she looks ready for a matured discussion to sort out issues.. but Dev seems to want to get back at Sona for reasons only known to him 😕 Right now they are away from their parent's influence in a beautiful setup with all the time in the world to bond as a family. And what does Dev do? He ties up Sona to a door for no rhyme or reason 🤪 So what is going to change even if they live separate from Ishwari or Bijoy? They are better away from each other with Soha living with Sona and Dev having visitation rights.. 😊

Is there any such thing as compatible if left alone? Will Dev stop lying if there was no one around? Will Sonakshi believe Dev who lied many times and got caught before? Will Dev ignore his sisters forever? Will Sona stop visiting her mother and her brother?

That is not possible.

You see, if two people can only be together if no one else is around, then they are living in a bubble. And no one can live in a bubble.

If a love isn't strong enough to get over the obstacles, it will never survive. Otherwise, Dev and Sona could have left anytime and went to live on their own. But they both knew that their love fell weak in front of the obstacles.

When husband and wife have solid bond where they have immense trust and support for each other, then no Ishwari or Bijoy can break them. When two people have shallow attraction and just a certain pull towards each other - even mild air can break them apart. Because morally, ethically, fundamentally they are different.

They broke up twice within one year. That was the proof that their love was not meant to be.

@Bold, I guess that the people with opinion in favour of Dev want the couple together because these two are definitely compatible left alone. compatibility issues are more cause of bijoy and Ishwari than the couple themself.. so want couple back but separated from both the houses

I didn't mean the literal but too much interference of elders and Dev , Sona giving into their pressure..give the couple some space and peace to bond well... no need of ishwari to wait late nights for her son after marriage...no need of Bijoy to give advise on their honeymoon plans...

A arranged marriage starts with trust ,understanding and love eventually grows and a love marriage starts with love and understanding , trust eventually grows...but either way a relationship needs it's time to mature enough to with stand the obstacles ...but unfortunately this couple never got that time ..too much baggage, too many insecurities, manipulations never let their bond grow enough ..they never got that space and time to nurture their bond which they both wanted so badly... time was never in their favor..

@bold ,but still they couldn't move on from each other also says something
