It's the day of the Holi and your favourite Writer decided to give you a treat by going to Shantivan and giving you a glimpse of all the main characters!
The first person I encountered when I went in was the Matriarch of the house, Naaniji.
Dressed in elegant saree with classy pieces adorning her neck and hands, she looked like a queen. Allow me to tell you that after her husband, her son and her daughter-in-law's death she singlehandedly managed the AR Fashion House and raised her two grandsons. She is awe inspiring and an idol for the Indian career women. She seemed to be in hurry and hence, didn't seem interested in answering your Writer's questions. But one question stopped her in her place, "Mrs. Raizada. What do you love the most in this world?" She turned around and replied haughtily, "My family and my family pride!" And she walked off.
I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to talk to Naaniji much but oh well! I went off in search of my next bakra... Ahem ahem... the next family member of Raizada Clan. I crashed into a man and would have fallen down if the man hadn't grabbed me. "Hello beautiful!", he drawled and I was taken aback.
The man turned out to be Naaniji's younger grandson Aakash. He seemed to be in hurry so I asked him the same question I asked Naaniji. He smirked, "I love... hmm... Tough question! But I should say drinks and girls!" Somebody called him and he ran away but not before winking at me. I rolled my eyes. Typical flirt! If you don't know then let me tell you that this fellow that I just met is the biggest flirt in the world. He sleeps with almost every girl who is interested in him but he is a good man at heart.
Next I came across is a young girl who seemed to be looking at Aakash with dreamy eyes while partially hiding herself. I asked her name and she turned out to be Khushi, the Butler's daughter.
She has lived in the house since she was born and loves the house. As she seemed to be eager to follow Aakash I decided to ask her the same one question and this was her reply as she sighed dreamily, "Aakashji! Haaye! Kitne handsome hain! Aur kitne pyaar se humse baat karte hain! (He is so handsome! And he talks to me so sweetly!)" Her eyes widened and she scurried away as soon as she realised what she had blurted out. I raised an eyebrow. I was so amused by this girl! I shook my head and went in search of next family member!
I entered a study room and I gulped as I came across HIM.
THE ASR! Arnav Singh Raizada, aka the heir and eldest Raizada grandson. Now you must be thinking, did your Writer have a crush on ASR? Nope! I was just too scared. That's ASR! The guy who could destroy you just for breathing wrong. He was the top tycoon of India and also the most ruthless businessman. I introduced myself and managed to squeak out only one question, "What do you love the most in this world?" He replied with serious expression on his face, "My business and my family!" I nodded and scrambled away. Phew!
Next person I found was a sexy looking dame entering the house. She was dressed in a gorgeous outfit, that I am sure was showcased in Lakme Fashion Week few weeks back. Who was she? You wonder! That is Paayal, Aakash's future fianc.
Unlike most of the rich girls, she is not a snob and is very sweet. She is also a Doctor in one of the top Hospitals in Dilli. She was happy to answer my question, "What do I love? Aakash! My Fiance! Who else!" She walked away in search of Aakash and I felt bad for her. She was in love with a womaniser. But then she didn't agree to this marriage with eyes closed. She knew exactly what kind of man Aakash was and yet wanted to marry him. She believed that she could change him.
As my time with the house was over, I decided to walk out. Just as I stepped out I came across an old man dressed in butler clothes. The man was Shashi Gupta.
Unable to stop myself, I asked him the question too. He simply smiled at me, "Humaari Paglaitth Khushi bitiya! (My crazy daughter, Khushi!)" He walked off and I left the Mansion too!
So what do you think about the characters? Are they interesting? By the way, if you are thinking Khushi will be pregnant by Aakash and Arnav will marry her to save the family pride or anything similar then perish the thought because you are wrong. This story is a light hearted romantic comedy! So go ahead and enter the world of Khushi Kumaari Gupta in My Fair Khushi Season 2!
