Does Gul Khan have some respect for girls?

Okay, i will start my rant now:

Shivaay pulls Anika for marriage and threatens her- being blue blood and her being their employee etc, I can forgive that..

Dadi doing this mangalsootra, sindoor jaap - forgiven, generation gap..

Jhanvi succumbing to Tej being a trophy wife- I can still forgive that thinking that she's doing it for her kids etc. (though it has only done bad to everyone but still..)

Pinky has a decent husband but she is again a typical mother, thinking her son as mini god sorta thing.. *eye roll

Why was there a need to do this to PriVeer; making Raneer another royal blood and him drugging Prinku; he could have been a middle class man who threatens her to marry or he'll make her confess in front of world.

And why the heck - not a single strong female character??? - self made or blue blood. In fact why is their not a single blue blood female lead?? Is that all what Gul thinks of girls- really, being a successful person herself?

And lastly- with ranveer's mother always flirting; wasn't the character of Svet enough or does she really feel that either girls are independent (thank god atleast for that) and abla naari or cheapdis whose pallu keeps falling?

P.S. I really wish that Soumya's character or story is not butchered. At the least let her remain a character which is strong enough.
