I sort of agree with khushi. Arjun himself decided to stay on island but the choice of taking arjun to that island was maya and knowing arjun s nature she knew he would refuse and stay back. Otherwise there was no need to send the crew and arjun to that island.

When Arjun tells Maya that he wants to go on his recce today, n not tomorrow, she agrees...After he leaves, she calls someone n says EXACTLY this - " Jo sab Kal hona that, Woh aaj hoga"

I just rewatched epi 62...The Mauritius temple scene...

Maaya brings Arjun to the temple...Both are discussing as to how both will now be happy hereafter...

The pundit overhears n butts in, saying nothing will be good for them...

Maya urges Arjun to leave, but Arjun insists that the pundit read his palm...He says good things for Arjun, except that, "money will trouble him"...

Arjun insists that he read Maaya's palm, maaya resists, but Arjun manages to persuade her...The pundit forecasts a very gloomy picture for Arjun if he continues his alliance with Maaya...Arjun fires him, while Maaya is devastated. The pundit walks away.

Maaya sobbingly asks Arjun whether he would now leave her, n Arjun reassures her that he would never do that.

Both then light diyas in the lake, which catch fire as soon as they turn their backs...(symbolism for bad omen)

They are about to leave the temple, when Maaya asks Arjun to go ahead, while she needs to meet her Bhagwaanji for 2 mins...Arjun goes ahead n is shown restlessly waiting for Maaya...When she returns, he asks her where had she been, n was everything all right?

Maya replies, "AB sab theek hai"

Next day, the temple pundit is found dead, "achanak SE"...

I m convinced beyond any doubt that Maaya has killed the Mauritius Pundit, too

(I m not saying this because of the pundits forecast or the bad omen...I m saying this based on interpretation of Maayas behaviour at the temple)

@khushi -- I have watched today's episode, I think Maya said something like 'she is struggling between two Mayas'. I don't exactly remember what she said, but she definitely said something like that.
