American director-producer
Brett Ratner has expressed a desire to
work with Shah Rukh Khan . The
director, who is known for films like the
Rush Hour series and X-Men: The Last
Stand also confessed on Twitter that he
is a big fan of the Bollywood badshah .
His post read, "@iamsrk I would love to
work with you one day!! Big fan!!!"
The admiration, it seems is mutual as
Shah Rukh promptly replied back,
tweeting, "@BrettRatner would be my
honour. I am an avid follower of ur work
& a huge fan of ur films. Would love to
come & see u work on sets one day."
The director known for his adrenalin-
pumping action flicks had his first brush
with Bollywood when he worked on a
remixed English version of Hrithik
Roshan-Barbara Mori starrer Kites . If
the tweets are anything to go by, we
might soon get to see Shah Rukh Khan in
a Brett Ratner movie next.

Rush hour movie was racially insensitive, they were using Chris Tucker's characters to attack Jackie Chan's character with racial references... while elevating black pride...

And Chris Tucker who's a nobody while Jackie is a global star, a superstar, was paid more in rush hour 2 and given first billing

Didn't somebody say SRK should be given an Oscar for "My name is khan"?

I really think if SRK makes a sequel right now, next year it will atleast be nominated

I dont think SRK would actually work in HW films, baaki yeh sab mutual praise and adulation toh chalta hi rahega...😛
.SRK is the biggest global star and any HW person who watches BW movies knows him.

Fanatics 🤣.It's Oscars not some Jhakarkati awards.

Thank you for the name calling

Considering the political climate in the USA right now, the Academy would love a movie about how muslims are targeted by the current US gov. and I think regardless of the quality of the movie it has a good chance of being nominated even win

I agree. I liked the films as a kid but now looking back at it, I can't believe such a racially insensitive film that depicted so many stereotypes and made a mockery of a group of people was considered comedy .
