If not an actor, you would have been?
I would have still been looking for what I
wanted to be. The most important thing
was that it started as fun and it's still fun. I
don't consider it work.
Which is your favourite role - being a
mother or an actor?
l love being a mother, but it's easier being
an actor.
A character you would love to play?
I would love to play my grandmother or
even my mother for that matter. Both of
them have had amazing lives.
What makes SRK such a charming actor?
He makes an effort to make every one
around him feel important. When he asks a
question, he actually waits for you to
answer. That in itself is a great quality in a
man who has achieved so much.
The best thing about marriage is...
I love the stability; I love the fact that I got
my kids out of it (legally). And the fact that I
see myself growing old with my hubby
(Ajay Devgn).
The sweetest thing that your kids have
done for you?
My son hugs me every night and sleeps, and
my daughter keeps an eye on me and gives
me the space that I need at times.
Are your kids on social media?
My daughter does have some accounts, but
they are all private.
Between you and Ajay, who is strict?
I'm definitely the strict one here. We have
our good cop and bad cop issues sorted.
One dish that you cook for your kids?
I don't cook. Our favourite dish is takeout.
The best way to connect with your fans is
through...
I have an Instagram and Twitter account.
But I'm more active on Instagram.
How would you handle trolls?
I ignore them. Can't give them that much
importance in my life.
An old-world style of romance that is
missing currently...
I find romance missing, period. It's more
like what you can get out of a relationship -
it's about instant gratification now.
Love for you is...
Love is caring, feeling and making it work
everyday. Love is not expecting perfection
from anyone.
The last thing you do before going to bed...
I love hugging my son and sleeping at
night.
And the first thing you do is...
Pick my son up.
Define your style.
I'd say it's confident and casual.
If you were to take a selfie with an
international star, who would it be?
Meryl Streep. I love her.
What is the worst thing about Bollywood?
I wish the audience would give us more
chances to make films that are a little more
different.

Being able to pick up my kids, and run
around.

would you have...
Bread and butter every time.

Handle each day as it comes and tomorrow
will be taken care of tomorrow.
