Part 10
Everyone returns home. Asad saw Tanveer at home in normal clothes.
"Tanveer, how was your meeting?" asked Asad.
"Very nice," lied Tanveer.
"She again lied," thinks Asad.
"How was the party?" asked Dilshad.
"It was okay but those Siddiquis showed their nastiness again," replied Zoya.
"What happened?" asked Dilshad.
Zoya, Asad, Najma and Farhan tells her only about their fight with Siddiquis.
"Yaa Allah! They insulted you all again," said Dilshad shockingly.
"But I too gave them proper answer especially to that Razia," said Zoya with a proud smile.
Asad and Farhan got reminded that Zoya is unaware that Razia is her mother.
"I am too tired. I am going to sleep," said Zoya and went to her room.
Asad entered his room to see Zoya sitting changed into her nightie and sitting on the bed. He went to the washroom and changed into nightie before sitting next to her.
"I want to tell you something important," said Asad.
"You wanted to tell me at the party but you could not so shoot now," said Zoya.
"You have really locked Tanveer in the storeroom on our wedding," said Asad.
"Not again," said Zoya rolling her eyes, "She against filled your ears against me."
"She did not said anything but I came to know myself. You were always right that Tanveer is not what she shows herself to be. She is a psycho," said Asad.
"No Asad, you must be having some misunderstanding. She is a very nice girl who knows how to dress well and has proper manners. She is an ideal woman," said Zoya sarcastically.
"Zoya, I know I was wrong in not giving you benefit of doubt and was so blinded by her being my childhood friend but please let me say everything," requested Asad.
"When was the last time you both met each other before she returned to Bhopal? Yaa, 12 years ago as you have said. Between that you both never met but you still felt like a fool that she is the same as she was in childhood. People change in a month so what's 12 years? Anyways, tell what all you want to tell. I am listening," said Zoya.
"I know I was foolish to she has not changed," said Asad.
He then tells her everything on how he started feeling that Tanveer is not what she shows, how he recalled all the incidents in this house, how he hired detective to know about Tanveer, how he came to about her fake husband stories among many other things before telling her how he saw Tanveer in burqa at Imraan's birthday and what all she talked with Tanveer. Zoya was shocked hearing everything he said with several things she herself did not knew. She then told Asad on what all things she knew about Tanveer and her several confrontations with her. Asad was shocked and angry on knowing how Tanveer behaved with Zoya behind everyone's back and felt ashamed for not being there for her.
"Zoya, I am sorry for never believing you and not being there for you whenever you needed me. Because of my behaviour from the start when we both met and later my blind trust on Tanveer, you fell in problems many times. You were right that my mother should have given me few slaps in my childhood so that I never turn into a jerk and insult any girl. I hurt you a lot and treated you very badly. I deserve your hatred. I am really a manhoos for you as you said. But I have really realized my mistakes. I know you will not trust me thinking that I will go to being jerk like always but I want one last chance from you. Please, give me that. If I hurt you again then you can leave me," said Asad in an emotional tone.
"You are right that I can't trust after what all happened. Still, I will think whether to risk giving you another chance or not. I don't want to be a fool again by trusting you," said Zoya.
"I understand," said Asad.
"Well, tomorrow Tanveer will be facing my wrath. I will teach her such a lesson that she will regret that why she even messed with me," said Zoya with a smirk.
"What you will do?" asked Asad.
"You will know tomorrow," replied Zoya.
"Okay good night," said Asad.
"Good night," said Zoya.
Both lied down to sleep. As Asad fell asleep, Zoya turned to look at him softly and thinks, "Looks like you have really realized your mistakes but I can't afford to be hurt again. I am not that old foolish Zoya to always forgive you easily when you only showed your true self after some time. I am tired of being sad and crying because of you."
Next morning, all were sitting for breakfast.
"Farhaan, can you pass me the water?" asked Tanveer with a smile.
Farhaan, Zoya and Asad got irked as she started with her drama. Zoya passed her the water but Tanveer was not taking it from her hand being annoyed at her interference.
"Take it, you wanted water only na," said Zoya with a smile.
"Yes thanks," said Tanveer with a smile taking the glass from her hand.
Farhaan, Zoya and Asad saw her annoyed expressions as she drank the water.
"Farhaan, can you help in my new project after breakfast?" asked Tanveer.
"Faru, you promised me to help me with my show," said Zoya.
"Oh yeah, I remember Zoe," said Faru with a smile.
"So sweet of you," said Zoya with a smile.
Tanveer was jealous and angry at Zoya ruining her plans. Asad noticed her expressions and got amused. He is now seeing be himself on what kind of a cheap woman she is.
After breakfast, Zoya and Farhan went into the study room while Tanveer looked on jealously. She saw Asad who was the only one in the hall as Dilshad and Najma had left the hall before Zoya and Farhan. Tanveer decided to poison Asad's mind against Zoya.
"Asad, can you see how much Zoya is close to Farhan. Don't think me wrong but Zoya is married now so she should be in her limits," said Tanveer in a fake worried voice.
Asad understood that Tanveer is trying to manipulate him.
"What do you mean by she should be in her limits, Tanveer? What do you want to say?" asked Asad angrily, "Just because Zoya is talking with another man that also her childhood friend you are accusing her with such a disgusting thing? Why you are always after her?"
"Asad, I was only trying to tell that...," Tanveer tried to reason but Asad cut her off.
"Enough Tanveer," roared Asad, "Keep your regressive thoughts with you only. Mujhe apna gyaan mat do ki Zoya ko kaise rehna chaahiye. From the time, you came in this house I am seeing that you are always trying to Zoya down and doing something or other to make me become angry with her and insult her. What the hell you have problem with my wife? Why don't let her live peacefully? Its you who should be in your limits not Zoya. If you ever talk anything against my wife then I will throw you out of the house."
Asad walked out of the hall leaving Tanveer fuming.
"Why Asad does not gets angry on Zoya now?" asked Tanveer fuming.
Tanveer sat on the couch and started reading a magazine.
"Hey Tanveer," Tanveer heard Zoya's voice.
Tanveer did not replied. She recalled all the times when Zoya came between her tricks to flirt and trap Farhan. She then recalled Asad getting angry at her some minutes ago for talking against Zoya. She clenched her teeth and picked a knife from the fruit bowl.
"You got your Asad then why are you coming in my way now," asked Tanveer furiously.
"What do you mean? Why you picked the knife?" asked Zoya pretending to be clueless.
"Don't try to be innocent. I know very well that you are trying to stop me in trapping Farhan. I am fed up of you always ruining my plans. First you snatched Asad from me and now you are not letting me get Farhan. I will kill you today," replied Tanveer angrily.
She raised the knife to stab her stomach but Zoya caught her hand mid-air and twisted it behind her back while truning her around making her back face her front. She then removed the knife from her hand and put it back in the fruit bowl.
"Do you really think that you can defeat me, Tanveer?" asked Zoya with a laugh.
She twisted her hand more as she cried in pain. Tanveer tried to free her hand but it was of no use. Zoya pushed her on the couch making her land on her back. She came forward and slapped both her cheeks very hard making her lens fall off revealing her stone eye.
"From the time you came in my life, you have always troubled me. Today, I will make you pay for all your mistakes, Tanveer. I will show you consequences of messing with Zoya Farooqui," said Zoya seething in anger and unbuckled her belt from her jeans.
Before Tanveer could say anything, Zoya lashed both her legs with the belt making her cry. Zoya lashed her legs again. Tanveer tried to get up only to be pushed by Zoya again.
"Zoya, what are you doing?" cried Tanveer shockingly.
"Something that I should have done a long back," replied Zoya menacing.
She hit her right shoulder and then her left shoulder.
"Zoya stop," said Tanveer only to be hit on both her shoulders again.
Everyone came in the hall after hearing her cries.
"You are telling me to stop ha after trying to kill me many times?" asked Zoya angrily.
She started hitting her hands and legs again being careful not to hit her belly. All were shocked to see this dangerous side of Zoya. Najma moved forward to stop Zoya but Asad stopped her from going to Zoya shocking Najma and others.
"Bhaijaan, why are you not stopping Zoya?" asked Najma shockingly.
"Yes Asad, Zoya is beating Tanveer," said Dilshad shockingly.
"Did Tanveer really tried to kill Zoya?" asked Najma shockingly.
Tanveer looked at Asad and started pleading, "Asad, please help me. Tell Zoya to stop beating me. I am your childhood friend. Please tell Zoya to stop."
"You deserve what Zoya is doing to you because you troubled her a lot even trying to kill her many times," said Asad in an enraged tone staring at her.
"Asad, what are you saying?" asked Tanveer shockingly.
"Zoya told me everything," replied Asad.
"Asad, Zoya is lying. You know na how she always accuses me with something I did not do. She is a liar. Please, don't listen to her," Tanveer tried to convince Zoya.
Asad, Zoya and Farhan were angry with her lying again.
"You liar," said Zoya angrily and hit her on her legs with the belt.
"Before Zoya telling me everything, I myself found a lot about your lies," said Asad.
"What do you mean?" asked Tanveer shockingly.
"Farhan, call the police," said Asad ignoring her question.
"Okay Asad," said Farhan and dialed a number on his cell.
"I asked you what do you mean?" asked Tanveer again.
"After Zoya started behaving differently with me after marriage and hating you a lot I started to think about her accusations on you again and recalled all the incidents happening in the house. Then I started realizing that things are more to what we are seeing happening," said Asad as he said everything he got to know himself.
Zoya then told everything that Tanveer did and how she suffered because of her. Dilshad and Najma were shocked and angry hearing everything. Zoya also told what all happened from some minutes ago when Tanveer tried to stab her with the knife. As Najma and Dilshad were talking with Asad, Zoya and Farhan discussing what all Tanveer did, Tanveer got up from the couch and walked towards the main door. Everyone's attention went to her. Zoya threw her belt on the couch and ran to Tanveer before she could open the door. She grabbed Tanveer harshly by the hair and brought her to the middle of the room. She left her hairs roughly and picked up the same knife that Tanveer picked earlier.
"You were about to kill me with knife only na," said Zoya in a wicked tone, "I will use the same knife on you and your baby now. You troubled because of this baby so your baby too will have to die along with you. You both don't deserve to live."
Tanveer was scared. The mention of Zoya killing her baby too along with her brought tears to her eyes. She got down on her knees and held Zoya's feet.
"Zoya, please don't kill my baby. I beg you. Don't give the punishment of my mistakes to my innocent baby," begged Tanveer while Zoya smirked seeing her begging.
"If you are begging so much then I am leaving you," said Zoya amusingly.
Zoya pulled her up by her hairs and pushed her on the couch. She picked up her belt and wrapped her around her neck choking her with it making Tanveer gasp.
"Khala, Najma, please help me," said Tanveer hopefully only to have her hopes crashed.
"Why should we help you?" asked Najma angrily, "A bitch like you deserves this only."
"You hurt Zoya a lot and tried to trap Asad and Farhan with your cheap plans so you deserve all this. You are a blot in the name of a woman," said Dilshad angrily.
"I always wanted to do all this to you but unfortunately I could not do so because of your stupid childhood friend who blindly trusted you. Fortunately, he is now not that fool to trust you blindly anymore. I am having so much fun in doing all this with you," said Zoya with a laugh as she kept on choking her with the belt making Tanveer gasp more.
The doorbell rang and Zoya left her. She wore back her belt. Najma opened the door. It was police. Tanveer was shocked and scared seeing the police.
"Officers, arrest this woman," said Asad.
A woman constable came near Tanveer and handcuffed her. Tanveer was so shocked at being beaten so much by Zoya and arrested now that she forgot everything about Razia sending her here and about Zoya being Gaffur's daughter.
"You all will have to come later to give the statements," said a male inspector.
"Okay Sir," said Zoya.
The police took away Tanveer in their van as others sighed in relief.
"Zoya, are you okay?" asked Asad, "She tried to stab you with the knife na."
"Yes, I am fine," replied Zoya.
"So much happened and we did not even got a hint," said Dilshad.
"If your son had believed me earlier then we would got rid of her a long ago. But thanks to your son's regressive mentality and judgemental nature, it could not happen," said Zoya sarcastically and left the hall while others especially Asad were shocked at what she said.
"Zoya is still angry with you," said Najma.
"Do you really expect Zoe to forgive him so easily after what all happened in 7-8 months?" asked Farhan, "He was nasty to her much before Tanveer came. Ye Zoe ki sharafat hai jo usne abhi tak Asad ke khilaaf harassment case file nahi kiya. You call yourself her best friend but you only care about your brother. You will not understand her hurt since you never got treated by a guy the way Asad treated Zoe. You and aunty hardly stood up for Zoe. You both never told him strongly to change his ways so he kept on becoming more nasty day by day, year by year. Like Zoe said yesterday kindly don't ruin the life of any other girl after Zoe leaves. Zoe deserves a nice guy who truly loves and respects her."
Farhan left the hall leaving the trio shocked.
"Am I really a bad friend?" asked Najma sadly.
"No, you are not a bad friend but I am not a good guy," said Asad sadly.
Zoya came in the hall.
"I need to leave for an important work. I will be back soon," said Zoya.
She left the house.
Scene shifts to the farmhouse. Zoya comes inside Humeira's room with her face covered with the scarf. Humeira who was lying on the bed in that room got up.
"I hope you ate well. I am here to set you free," said Zoya.
"I don't want to go to that home," said Humeira.
"You have to. You can't miss your college for long. Also you have your cousins too in that home. So you have to go. You have your own life," said Zoya.
"You are right but I don't know what I will say," said Humeira.
"You say that you went to your friends house if your mother tells you that she knows you did not reached your relatives house," said Zoya.
"Okay," said Humeira.
"Try to destroy your mother's cell in some way where Ayaan's burning car video is there. Don't delete it otherwise she will come to know that you are doubting her," said Zoya.
"Okay," said Humeira.
"My men will drop you near your home," said Zoya.
"Okay," said Humeira, "Thanks a lot for being nice with me."
"I am not any criminal to torture you," said Zoya.
Zoya left the house and drove away in her car before her men could could come with Humeira out of the house so that she does not see her car and doubt her.
Humeira reaches home after Zoya's men who were wearing masks left her some distance away from her house. Razia was relieved on seeing her.
"Humeira, you came," said Razia happily.
"Yes, I was getting bored where you sent me so I came here," said Humeira.
Razia was shocked with her lie as she knew that she did not reached the house but she decided to not ask her anything otherwise she will doubt her.
"Ammi, you did not even asked me about my lie which shows that how selfish you are. I will not let you trouble Ayaan anymore for your selfishness," thinks Humeira sadly.
"Humeira, you should go and rest. You must be tired," said Razia with a smile.
Sure ammi," said Humeira with a fake smile ad went to her room.
Precap: #Razia comes to KV. Zoya accuses her of coming to insult them again. Razia tries to tell her that she is her mother but does not lets her do so as she continuously insulted her and telling her to get lost. She threatens her to beat her the same way she beat Tanveer making her land in hospital. Razia was shocked on hearing such things from her own daughter and leaves the house sadly. Asad and Farhan smiles at each other seeing the scene and relieves that Razia could not say anything to Zoya about their truth.
#A week after Tanveer's exposure, Zoya decides to give Asad a chance after talking with Farhan who tells her to give him one more chance as he is really guilty of his mistakes.
#Asad and Zoya become more closer day by day leading to their consummation a month after their marriage and 2 weeks after their reconciliation(Reminder: No dirty trick of Zoya to hurt Asad but real split will come after some romance).
