Arnav had left Khushi's r0om after a message from Neerja which stated that it would be best if he did not appear in front of her till she spoke to her and she calms herself.

The news of Khushi's revitalization brought Neerja to the room in which Khushi was resting in.

"How are you feeling now, Khushi?" she asked, concern lacing her voice.

"Better. I don't want to see his face ever again in my life. He did not change a bit," she huffed, reminiscing his words to her.

Neerja sighed in disappointment. She had not expected Khushi to be pliant or accepting about her decision but she knew that it was the best way.

"Contrary to what you feel, I think that you should be his counselor as it had begun," she said, her face moulding into a serious look.

Khushi shot her an incredulous look as surprise filled her mind. Neerja had known her pretty well and she was her counselor. Khushi wondered what had brought her counselor, who knew everything about Arnav and her, to asking her to be his counselor. It sounded like an outrageously ridiculous idea to Khushi.

"How could you ask me to continue being his counselor after knowing our history and knowing what happened today, Neerja? Are you out of your mind?" questioned Khushi. She was unable to wrap her head around the advice given by Neerja. She wanted her to counsel Arnav? On his guilt and grief? About her?

"Khushi, me and Shyam had been trying our best to restore normalcy for you since the past eight years but we have been unsuccessful but now we feel that we have found cure to your heartache. This is not about you or about him, it is about both of you. Many times the cures which doctors offer are not acceptable but they are the only ways to cure, Khushi. Trust me, we have the best intentions for you in our mind," explained Neerja, her composed and collected aura compelling Khushi to give in to her words.

"Even Shyam feels the same?" she asked, knowing that Shyam would never accept anything which could potentially be harmful for her.

"Even Shyam feels that this is the best idea. You would be Arnav's redemption and he, your salvation," she said, praying that her words turn true soon and free everyone from pain.

"What if he hurts me again, Neerja? I am not ready to bear that pain again," declared Khushi, flashes of that haunted marriage playing on the canvas of her mind.

"He will not, Khushi. If you don't trust me on this, trust at least Shyam. And if you are unable to trust him either, trust your destiny," she requested, her hand cupping Khushi's shoulder gently. Khushi turned away from Neerja and looked through the window as memories flooded her mind.

"If not for him, I would have both my destiny and the God, Neerja. My belief on destiny and God wavered the day he forcibly married me after trying to force himself on me on two separate events and I completely lost in when I had to leave everything I love behind to ensure that I left the one who ruined my life behind," she whispered, her mind a turbulent storm and yet her eyes as calm as the sea before storm.

Neerja walked upto her and stood beside her, looking out like Khushi.

"Maybe that was how it was intended to be. If he was the one who took your belief away, maybe it was meant to be that he would be the one to reinstate it back. Maybe that is why me and Shyam have been trying since years but our efforts were futile. It feels like a play of destiny," she said, her eyes thoughtful and lost.

Khushi looked at Neerja. The therapist extraordinaire beside her was a woman who never lost hope, no matter what the destiny decided to do with her. Her ever optimistic nature and compassionate persona were probably the reasons, she succeeded in her career and chose it in the first place.

"Hopefully so, Neerja. I am willing to trust the two of you. But remember one thing, if he manages to hurt me this time, no matter who tries, you will not be able to pull me out of the vortex of depression and pain he left me in," she said and gave Neerja a firm look before she walked out.

Neerja took a deep breath. She did not trust Arnav but the feeling which was alive in him and resonates in her, which happens to be the most powerful force of the world - Love. It was that force which makes her optimistic, despite facing several odds and the one which makes her compassionate. She knew that love would triumph but she was ignorant of the sacrifices it would seek.

-------------------------------
Shantivan,

Arnav walked in to see Payal, Akash and Anjali discussing about him. They were trying to contact people who might know my location and they seemed worried sick.

"Bhai? Where were you?" asked Akash, rising from his seated position.

"Hospital. I met Khushi," he said, and saw shock etching into the features of the members in front of him.

He saw a smile appear on Payal's face after years. She blamed herself for what happened with Khushi and plunged herself into guilt.

"How is she? What was she doing in a hospital?" she questioned, desperate to know about her sister like Khushi.

"She is Maya Chaturvedi, now. The well-known therapist. She is married to Shyam," he said in one breath. Everything had changed since Khushi left his home. He was forced to reveal the details of his marriage which caused a heartattack to his grandmother and soon she expired, unable to bear the shock.

"Shyam? Our childhood friend?" asked Payal, unbelievably.

"Yes. Shyam Chaturvedi. Now, if I can rest for a while. I had a panic attack in her presence and was admitted there. I have a throbbing headache so if you don't mind," he said politely as he began walking out. He could not bear telling Khushi's best friend that she was married to their best friend.

The one who ensured that he never faced failure of any kind was facing the biggest failures one could face - failure of being a human and failure of love life.
