Which movie do you guys like to see when you are feeling down or simply bored? Which movie has the ability to keep you interested despite repeated viewings and also lightens up your mood? Also what is about the movie that you like?

In terms of BW, early SRK-Kajol movies because they were the reason I fell for BW and learned Hindi. Yes, including Baazigar. 😆 Also, MPK and HAHK.

I can write and have written essays on this very board as to why some movies are bad and I sit on a very high horse most times while judging movies 😛, But these movies are different. There is a huge nostalgia factor. These movies represent memories to me. I remember sleepovers, dancing to the songs. They always put a smile on my face. Does not matter how illogical and cheesy they are.

I have some HW, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies too that are like that to me.

In general, any movie uplifts my mood i guess, unless they have morbid content or sad ending.. movies are an escape usually so.. :p

...from BW I think the only movie I have watch many times was K3G - it cheers me up and is almost played every other weekend.. and for some reason I have rewatched Darna Zaroori Hai, somehow everytime I would surf the channels, this movie would be playing and I enjoyed it actually - cheers me up :D

Is this topic confined to BW? There are a few telugu, Swedish, english, french movies i re-watched just because I felt i couldnt get enough first time :-)
