Arjun did that as per dr. instructions I guess.. There was no foul play from his side but Jhanvi will suspect him now as the murderer of Arjun. Arjun already suspects Jhanvi and I think Saanjh might discuss Arjun's talks to Vandana out of concern toward Arjun as she thinks Arjun is going on a wrong path. But Vandana will believe that Arjun's suspicion is right and will try finding it out. It will be then she'll be finding Jhanvi's letter and will give that to the Inspector. Jhanvi will be arrested and Maya will come to know that Arjun influenced Jhanvi to write the letter and will be heartbroken and angry on Arjun in my opinion.

The tantrik was an obvious fake, probably Arjun carrying out what the doctor had said.

But why did he ask her to write the letter? He could've just asked the tantrik to say some mumbo-jumbo and tell Jhanvi not to bother about this anymore.

The original script was to have Kushal play a double role, in which case a negative Arjun could be believed. Think that idea was canned later.

So Arjun thinks Jhanvi is the killer,Jhanvi thinks either Maya or Arjun (probably Arjun?) is the killer. Golmaal hai bhai sab golmaal hai.

@bold red- Is there a possibility that the real Arjun gets killed in the car that met with an accident because of Vandana.. or he may have lost memory or something.. and this Arjun is his imposter who killed Ashwin because of some reason we dont know.. and now by framing Jhanvi he wants to get a clean chit.. I know this is far fetched but we were never told who got killed or injured in that car accident..

Possible- the Arjun after marriage is far more ahem... friskier than the previous Arjun 😛

But if he was an imposter, you should think Saanjh or Ayaan should be able to smell the changes and think something's fishy, having been so close to him all these years.

This would be a Kekta-like switch- I'd be very unhappy if they took that route.
