The meaning of songs!

Hey ji...ssa to everyone.. well my topic today is about gaane songs an everything to do with the meaning side.... like how do you as people enjoy songs... what do you find from them.... do you actually sit down and take the meaning to heart... or let it past... and just listen out for beats...i mean dont get me wrong i also like the beats side of songs.. it can be very catchy 😛

well me im the type that loves songs that has meaning.. but for parties i dont really care as its just to enjoy urself and just dance... but normally if im listening in my room or my car its normally songs that get my attention and makes me feel connected to the songs... one person this is Gurdas maan... he made a new album was just out yesterday called boot polishan... i mean looking at the name people would have thought that it has no sense to the title.. etc but if u actually listen deeply to the song it gives you a whole lot to what it actually means...

heres a few lines from the song

kam chota vada ni bande di sooch vaddi chooti Rotii haq di kaiye ji paame boot polishan kariye... - it doesent matter about what sort of job big or small, its the persons thinking of big and small, everyone should eat from what they deserve even if they have to polish boots

I try my best to find out the meaning side to songs but yes i can be wrong also..

So people tussi batao hun... 😛.... lol to make it more intresting why dont everyone select their fav quote from a song and give its meaning... 😛

Well I like fast upbeat songs....Sometimes the lyrics do matter...😆 But other times its just like I like listening to that song because it sounds good and suits my taste 😃😛

I agree with you, I listen to what's good to my ears, however I am a huge fan of old school punjabi songs they had such deep meanings...yamla jatt, didar sandhu, mohammad siddqui are some of my faves. Dad is a crazy fan of Gurdas Mann and his lyrics are always very meaningful😃

my favorite quote is from my favorite song by Yamla Jatt called " Main teri tu mera" though the whole song is beautiful this portion always does something to my heart
