You know why are Alpenliebes not called as toffees and instead given the respect of a chocolate? Because they are classy. Non sticky like eclairs. Not boring and standard like maha lacto. Alpenliebes had flavors, they are classy. Most importantly they came cheap to buy off the little monkeys that were my cousins.

I am good. You are right, Delhi had been a dream. I don't know why I have always associated it with a way of life while growing up. Dreamt of working in a office located in a skyscraper, everyone dressed in crisp formals, speaking in English all the time. That was the dream. Somehow I got it into my head that going to Delhi would somehow bring that change to my life too. It was stupid really. Delhi though isn't how my imaginary Delhi was, it is good enough. I know the city is as famous as infamous, yet there is a part of my heart stuck in this city. Though there are no relatives, no friendly Neighbors like we had back in our hometown. Delhi feels like a home for so many lonely souls who are here to fight their own battles. It keeps up with them, makes them stronger. I like this place. To answer your question, a part of my dream did come true. Although some parts of the said dream, as mentioned will be a figment of my imagination.

With two sisters and so many girl cousins, why would I ever make a statement to look down upon girls. We Handa boys are in fact in minority when compared to Handa girls and we love them to death. I would never ever say such a thing to a girl Meera. In fact I'm pretty sure I would not be able to do some things girls are capable of doing. Why, our Geet, she is an amazing batswoman. Although she cheats sometimes, she still is the best we got on team when we were young and you know that.

I never realised I was imposing. Sorry for that. So much used to babysit, I thought I was just doing my job.

Although the free treatment is tempting, if gynaecology is going to be your specialisation, I doubt if ever it is going to help me directly. You being able to help will be subjective then. Subjective on getting married and have kids and the probability I have to say is much less. How about I have you as a reference in the hospital you will eventually work in.

Kriti and Sanju are happily married and settled in US and Canada respectively. Mother misses them dearly, so do I. How are your sisters and how are uncle and aunty. Give them my love.

Ps: Geet spilled the lack of sleep part? Why, we can have you in cc directly next time I mail her.

I really love her, but I stick to what I said earlier. My younger sister is a bug.

So,interesting letters sry emails 😆... Writing letters always give personal warmth ...gone r the days where used to wait for letters nd greeting cards which used to filled the curious heart with well -being of our loved ones nd friends ...then night used to b for writing replies nd then studiously going to post those letters ...pocket money was also divided for inland letters nd postal stamp too ..
Indeed a nostalgia...
We have come long way but these emails had those emotions ...constant bantering from each of them is gives u that warmth ,the togetherness of friends like geet ND meera,the unknown blossoming story of Ashwin nd meera ,the sisterly bond with Ashwin nd finally sometimes we need some unknown person to unleash hidden emotions as we r seeing from maan nd geet's emails ...
Enjoying thoroughly veil ...one of the best write up in forums nd exceptionally beautifully written ...looking forward for more ...

The wall fitting suits, breathtakingly handsome CEO's and clumsy secretaries in traditional dresses slipping and landing in the boss' arms, eye locks and flying dupattas that's how the Desi TV projects the corporate world. So are these things for real? Office located in skyscrapers , handsome boss, scantily dressed women as employees crushing on their boss and bitching about the incompetent but extremely beautiful small town secretaries.

Why is the probability less? Have you turned into one of those workaholics? No time for anything else?

No hot woman in your acquaintance for whom you'd like to break your celibacy oath? ;-) :-p

Shalu Di got married last year. Is in Goa now. Srishti will be appearing for 12th boards this year and then my little sister starts her college life. :-) How quickly time flies!

I may not leave a comment every time (since I can't leave intelligible comments for a light-hearted story) but I do want to let you girls know you're both doing an amazing job.

I've read one such story earlier, a story told in letters. Epistolary. So inarguably, this reminds me of that story, but I just love this one. You've surely gained one loyal reader.
