This is a quote from the Bible. This story there was no lack of Love between the leads Dev and Sona. There was no respect, no empathy, just heartache but there was Love . Their own kind of LOVE. A love probably not a lot of us can understand but maybe a kind of Love that exists.( I personally dont know of this kind 😉)
A love for Dev Dixit which was like his life breathe, A love for Sonakshi which was a fairy tale. The bitter reality, Dev Dixit would not and cannot go against his mother, his God. He has been trained that way and that is his core character.
Sonakshi Bose who gave it all for Love , her fairy tale , gave up her identity , her true self for the love she had for Dev but could not sustain why because of his Love for his mother.
The promos showed that already that this was the way it was going to be ...His mother always somebody who will not let their love be fulfilled.
It is just some of us maybe interpreted it differently😉
Sona fell in Love with Dev because of his understanding of his family , but his family was so different from hers that she could not sustain. Dev fell in LOVE with Sona for the colors she brought in his life but the colors could not sustain
WHY EASWARI DIXIT his MOTHER
Here is a mother whose sole life just revolved around Dev, It was Dev that she made the halwa for, It was Dev that she lived and breathed for..why because she was an insecure woman , a woman who only saw wrong in others not in herself, who still does not see that she wronged, AND gave herself the Godly status..of course with the help of Dev and mamaji who maintained that image. Who is toppling that image now Sona and so she does not like her and doesnot want her in her Son's life.
So Dev and Sona are in crossroads yet again.. They cannot come together even though there is Love because there is too much hurt, too much pain and too much heartbreak caused by Easwari.
But the real GOD is bigger than a so called Pretend GOD.. And that God had joined Dev and Sona, that God had given them a precious reminder of their Love in Soha and that God will make sure that no WOMAN will put asunder what he himself has joined.
I think the makers always had this vision of no redemption for Dev but maybe a redemption for Easwari( the reason I am saying maybe is because this could be a possibility)😆
I was away from the forum for a whole week because this story was giving me unhappiness and I dont want to be unhappy. Today I decided to read the WU and so penning my thoughts here.
Today is Maha Shivarathri..Shiva has been the underlying theme in this show .. and Soha and Easwari meet. Now the Real God is going to teach his life lessons to the pretend God. Soha will be so near yet so far for BOTH Dev and Easwari and Dev will suffer and any attempts that Easwari will make to get Soha in his life will backfire and she will hopefully realize that SHE is the cause for all of her Sons unhappiness and that is where I think the story is headed
For those of us who are shouting that Dev has to redeem he will not because the makers of this show think that he does not need redemption. It is their story to tell and I think the main character of this story is Easwari and not Dev or Sona. Bijoy , Asha and others just have a role to play a support for Sona for she needed it.

P.S This is not a Pro Dev, Pro Sona or Pro love topic just an observation of this story and the way the makers are choosing to tell it. They are not imparting any social message and are just telling an old story a new way a MIL who came in between a DIL and Son and realize that she is making her son unhappy. Again I dont know whether this is where they are going but my gut is saying it is.
I dont really care whether Sona and Dev get back together or Not..Just a small piece of advice to the makers in the name of a story please do not put childrens safety at risk. You can show any illogical things as it pertains to the hero or the heroine but not when it comes to a child's safety because we hear and read horror stories everyday of crimes committed against children so please show some social responsibility atleast towards that
