Hey Sabita 🤗

Welcome back! Happy Maha Shivratri to you too 😊 Very thoughtful post as always 👍🏼

I just made a post yesterday how the CVs have blatantly shown what a woman's worth is 👎🏼 No TV show maker feels the necessity to have some social responsibility while relaying a story. It's all about business, sadly enough a very sensitive topic such as infertility is used so insensitively 😔

And now kids emotions are also going to be played with, in short makers will justify everything wrong in the name of "sacrifices" made by one woman!!!!!!! 😡

I don't know why I am still gathering courage to watch today's show. Can't I have some bhaang in the name of God and get high instead of watching the crap dished out? The only problem is I don't know where bhaang would be available in NY 😆😆

Excellent post Sabita..Seriously,this show about Is.hwari,the Goddess,mother,MIL,Dadi and everything..Dev and Sona are side characters...

Ishwari ,her sandook and her halwa are the leads

And Ishwari's temple visits are looking increasingly dangerous..The last time she cried before her God she ended .up separatig Dev and Sona...This time she ends up meeting Soha...Woh kaunsa mandir hai jahan wish maangte hi poori hoi jaati hai..Ishwari,plz tell😆😆😆

The show is moving from stupid to ludicrous and unbearable now..It has become a full fledged comedy..But I agree with u...They shoulnd't play with children's emotions in this..Amidst all this crap,I still felt sorry for Soha😕

If I were you I will just hug your child , watch a movie with your family anything other than watch this show..of course about Bhaang I dont think it is readily available in AZ too

I think it was evident from the beginning that the show is about Dev and Ishwari and how Sona's entry in their life changes there dynamics but from what I understand you're saying, I think I wouldn't want Sona and Dev to reconcile. I also hope we see Ishwari's redemption through her realization as she still seems to be in her bubble of god complex.

Are you saying that Ishwari would be handing Dev Soha like she did with Sona? I think Dev himself seeking out the litttle girl and getting visitation would be better. I really hope they don't place Ishwari on a pedestal till the end. She needs to be taken down from that pedestal.

Thanks Anita it us clear as day where they are going with this show..it is all about Easwari and she will be the one to bring Dev and Soha together and maybe Sona and for those of us who thought that otherwise we are fools

Areeba in my opinion in hindsight I think this story was only about Easwari. Dev was her obsession and Sona coming in changed dynamics so the makers will make Easwari change miraculously and Dev and Soha will be together. Sona is just collateral damage in this story. Their reasoning a son should never go against his mother, a daughter in law should be understanding and a mother all forgiving and that is what they will show..I can bet my last dime on it...is it archaic yes but so is this story

I always understood that Dev and Ishwari were central plot of the show. I am already there with you but I translated the script as talking about changing the dynamics ultimately. From what I understand you are saying, thats not gonna happen and the delusional bubble of Ishwari won't be burst.

I don't think I can tolerate that. For once I thought that they would switch the regressive story into a model of progressive but if not, then why the hell are we all here.

I think every week that I will stop seeing this serial as every time I see ishwaris nautankis on screen my blood pressure rises!

This is the first Hindi series in many years that I followed so.seriously for the last one year. But now I am.feeling a little bad at the way the story is progressing

- its unfortunate that the woman is being treated as a baby making machine and nothing more. Nobody at least till now and including dev is even thinking about how diff it must have been for sona to manage on her own for 7 years.

So I hope the creative know what they are doing and give a logical end to the story that was once very beautiful. How would we ever forgive ishwari - would ishwari ever realise what damage has she caused. I hope sona never comes back to dixit house- she should explain to dev as to why they can never get back together again as I think as soon as she comes back the same abusive cycle will start again
