More than the episode, I am baffled by the hypocrisy of the society. We always preach that sons and daughters are equal and a daughter in law should be treated same way as a daughter. Then why not son-in-law also treated in that way? Me as a viewer was tormented to see Bose family on streets after the slap-gate incident. Elena who has witnessed all of these (I presume when Bose family left Delhi, at least she must have found out from others they were evicted from their own house), unabashedly visits them on their happy moment and been welcomed by everyone. Seriously guys...So Bose who are educated and cultured who are portrayed as role model for others to imbibe, have different set of rules for their daughter and Son-in-law? How come? Elene has broken the trust of Bose household not once but twice...first by eloping with Vicky (let's forgive her as each one has the right to choose their life-partner) secondly by not standing with the Bose family in their difficult times (which is indeed a grave mistake)...So Elena who knows the Dixit for months stayed solid with them and Dev (who is also equally victimized by his mom/GKB/Vicky) is been penalized? Where is the fairness? If they can forgive and forget Elena's deception, why not give Dev a chance to explain his part of the story? Here by "they" I mean only Bijoy. I will not blame SOnakshi and Asha, because I know they are hurt now, and once they know what Dev has undergone and who deceived Dev, they would be empathizing with Dev. Bijoy expects Asha to support him while he doesn't want Sona to do the same with her husband? He also makes/made the same mistake of imposing his likes/dislikes on his daughter's choice. After the slapgate incident what BIjoy said is still reverberating in my ears..."I will not forget this and would expect my daughter also not to forget"...that's what he has been doing and he is unrepentant of his decision...if Asha is not there he would be worse than Ishwari...

I salute the CVs for their smartness...they know the pulse of the viewers...that's why they are showing Dixits as bundles of mistakes and Bose as pure and noble. They know the hypocrisy of the society and capitalizing and cashing on it.

your post is a relief for me...
THANK GOD there is someone has a same thought like me...

i always felt Bejoy is beyond his limits...
he expect Sona to be treated fairly in Dev's house but how bout Dev? Is he treating Dev equally?

and sometimes, i feel hurt with Sona too...
does she stand up for Dev as strong as she stands up for her family?
Especially during the house mortgage fiasco
i still remember Dev tried to reach out to her a lot of times during that period...
but she didn't entertain him... she wanted to solve their 'own' family on their own...
And this action is from Sona who always wants Dev to communicate to her each time his family got any issues.
where is togetherness in this action? and they just promised to face each problem together...ALWAYS...
i really felt Sona should have talked to Dev at that point of time, try to make him understand that even though it is not his fault but its hurts her & her family precisely when he couldn't stand up for them in front of Ishwari & his family.
I have no issues on her returning the money... thats perfect slap for Ish & others... but she should have talked to Dev.
And should have solve Bejoy's issue with Dev... Dev tried own his own but failed miserably... i wish Sona knows how Bejoy treated her husband on the street.
I always feel Bejoy has issue only with Dev... with others, he is perfect.
I hope Bejoy will get a wake up call and remember how he felt about Dev before their first break up; when he visited him in office, Asha maa's cake, Sona's accident.
I hope he realized Sona is Dev's both strength and weakness.

my wish...

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST... DEV & SONA REALLY NEED TO IMPROVE IN THEIR COMMUNICATION SKILLS... TALK TO EACH OTHER PEOPLE! OPEN UP!

Ever since Dev and Sona broke up before marriage Bijoy dislikes Dev he always wanted a reason to keep him out and when the marriage failed it was Bijoy's chance to gloat he had finally won the battle
Bijoy never accepted Dev as his SIL so now he make sure that Dev is not forgiven by Sona he is already doing everything to keep Soha a secret
when it comes to Elena she is after all family but Dev was never family to Bijoy
