And about the fiction thing. Really? If that is so then a censor board shouldn't exist. After all everything is fiction.

Despite everything, the fact that a person like Maya would fall in love with a low life like Arjun is what I find most unrealistic about the show 🤣

It's definitely regressive. I can't understand why this show is so much into superstitions bad omens & these days the weird expressions that Vandu mata keeps on giving I feel her eyes will fall out very soon. I am a Hindu too & yes we do believe in superstions & astrology stuff but here they are going overboard with it. Did not expect this from Beyhadh.
But since it's a phase we have to watch to see how the story unfolds so I am still hanging on to it. Let's see what's in store for us in the coming episodes.Truth be told even our grandparents these days don't scream Apshagun the way Vandu does when some signs we consider as bad happens... they too have become more chilled out 😆

hi there, thanks for sharing your thoughts. i think we need to remember two things here. 1) that there ARE people who believe in these superstitions 2) this is an indian serial so there is going to be an emphasis on a lot of what they show on television for effect.usually whenever there is a right of passage there a different traditions / rituals / superstitions attached to the said event and you can find this in every culture. given they are newlyweds i can see why there is much more ritual attached cuz marriage is such a huge part of indian / hindu culture.
