Aarya stood together in their balcony looking into the large back garden of their Mumbai Mansion at their kids their five rascals and Prateek's and Paridhi three year old daughter playing catch.
Akash with his wife Nehal were sitting on the wooden bench their two year old twin a boy and a girl were playing at their feet the older kids were to fast for them and they were taking a much needed break from all that running and screaming.
SP came and sat adjacent to the younger couple at the age of seventy he was still physically strong and active, he loved playing with his grandkids, and being involved with the business very much the head of the family.
Maya and Radha who were both much younger than SP being in their fifty ninth year came out holding trays of snacks followed by Vidhi, Paridhi and Vedicka each carrying a tray.
"Where is Yash bhayia and Aarti Bhabhi?" asked Paridhi
"Where do you think?' asked Prateek also bring a tray filled of goodies "In their room lost in each other as usual" he laughed
Which made the other elders also laugh "Prateek stop it you know he is only helping her zip up her dress and tie the string" teased Pankaj followed by his twenty two year old son Vedant both also bring trays
"Yashu hear how they are having fun at our expense come lets hurry down"
"NO let them have their fun and we will have ours and he back hugged her kissing her neck and shoulders
A giggling Aarti said "Stop nah Yash behave we have children and elders waiting on us. Come it is a special day and Shoba ma and bauji should be here any moment."
As they made their way down stairs Ramdularie answered the front door Shoba ma and Dubey Ji had arrived Aarya greeted them "Where are you bags ma" ased Aarti
"Beta you know we don't stay with your in-laws and are more comfortable in a hotel" said Dubeyji
"Bauji every time we have the same argument and every time I say consider me as your son not son in law"
"Beta I know but I still feel so guilty after what both Prashant and I did to both you and Aarti out of my selfish motive for loving my son and wanting revenge for both his loss of custody of Ansh and his death"
"Bauji that is in the past we understand how much you were hurting and your love for Prashant; but he is gone and we are still here your adopted children and look you all have so many grandkids who love you all so much. Please reconsider and spend the holidays with us" pleaded Aarti
"Beta try to understand even it has been four years I still feel so ashamed of my behaviour we will spend the weekend with the grandkids but will return to the hotel to sleep. Next week we have to discuss about the transfer of my business to both you and Yash so you can manage it for Ansh. I have sold the house in Indore and the one in Bhopal is up for sale. The money will be placed in a Fixed Deposit for Ansh. I want him to have something from his biological father's side Shoba and I have decided to move into a home for the aged right here in Mumbai so we can be close to you all"
"Bauji while I respect your wishes Ansh is my eldest child and heir"
"Yash beta you have two other biological sons they should be your heir" said Dubeyji
"Again I say I respect your wishes so please respect mine Ansh is my eldest child I am his father he is my heir my love for him is not different from my other children. If you want to leave him money and your small business that is okay too I respect you for that as he is your last blood relative but he is my son and nothing will ever change that"
The kids came running in at the same time shouting in excitement when they saw the newcomers "bade ma, bade papa you finally arrived. We missed you. "said Ansh, Palak, Payel the almost four year old Aayu and the two year old Aayan holding on to his didis hands.
"My word look at how my babies have grown in the last year you all are much taller" said Shoba blessing and hugging each child then they went to Dubey ji and he too hugged and blessed them.
"Look at these chubby babies how cute they are and how much they resemble their papa" Dubey held both Aayu and Aayan in his arms
The newcomer whom he had seen in pictures and when his mama held him for video chat fascinated Ayaan. He followed his older siblings and said bade papa and give him kissy too, much to the delight of Dubey ji.
Shoba said "we give Ramdularie the gift bags for all you kids and sweets for the elders."
"Ma it was not needed" said Aarti
"Nonsense we have ten grandkids in this family we enjoy buying gifts for them, and can we visit our daughter and her family without bring gifts that is not done" answered Shoba
"Come lets us go outside" said Yash
The eleven year old Ansh held his bade ma's hand while the almost eleven and ten year old Palak and Payel held on to their bade papa's hands Aarya carried their two youngest.
"See I told you all there is a very good reason for their lateness see they were welcoming Shoba auntie and Dubey uncle" said a smiling Akash
"Namaste everyone" greeted each other and the kids opened their gifts, and settled down in the large tent.
As Aarya entered, rose petals fell on them and everyone clapped and shouted "happy fifth anniversary Yash and Aarti"
"Wait a moment this is not our wedding anniversary" said Aarti but my friend Mansi's
"Yes we know but the two of you saw each other first on this day and Yash accidently showered you with the rose petals meant for Mansi on this day" said Prateek
"Yes Yash bhayia you were the wedding planner for Mansi's wedding and showered Aarti with the petals when you came home you were so lost at your blunder that Prateek kept teasing you that you noticed a girl" laughed Vidhi
"Yes and I remember bumping shoulders with you when you and Mansi were going outside and in my haste to make everything perfect for the bride during the Jaimala ritual I missed my timing and you got showered instead" said a smiling Yash
"I thought who is the idiot who did this and spoiled Mansi's moment"
"Well now I am your idiot" smiled Yash hugging her
"Yashu behave we are not alone"
"Don't mind us we are accustomed to your behaviour" said SP laughing even the kids joined in.
Aarti could not help blushing and she hit Yash on his arm her eyes flashing fake anger at him
Shoba ma said "When I say those flowers fall on Aarti I took it as a sign that there is someone who will marry my daughter and give both Ansh and her a happy home and I was correct. The handsome young man who looked shocked and disturbed when he realized his mistake turned out to be the one"
"Okay enough of making them blush time to start the party" said Prateek "I made the snacks today with the help of my beautiful wife and my two bhabhis also dinner will be made by me. This is my small token to my gundi Bhabhi thanking her for entering our life and bringing her naughty boy Ansh our young brave hero, our champ who had given my Yash bhayia reasons to live and enjoy life again as evidence by Aayu and Aayan. Palak and Payel got a loving mom, a good friend and a role model to follow; not to mention because of them I could marry my love my Pari"
"Thank you chote now you are making my Aarti teary eyes" said Yash looking at Aarti with so much love.
"Aaru since Prateek made such a lovely speech let me say this; the day I spoke to you on the phone never in my dreams I would of thought that the aggressive lady who put me in my place about my lights order on the other end would turn out to be my soul mate the true love of my life. My Aarti, my wife, and mother to my five children" he took her hands and kissed them "I never thought after I behaved like an A** to you after Palak's birthday and our Mumbai trip that you would of stayed with me and continue to love me as much as you do. I deeply regret all the pain I put you through those few months and if I could go back in time I would change it all." And her kissed her on her cheeks.
Aarti was so taken in by his honest expression of pure love she responded "Thank you Yashu for accepting both me and my son I know it was not easy for you to adjust your beliefs, life, and room to allow us in but you did and accepted us from the heart. You are our son's Ansh true super hero rescuing him not once or twice but many occasions over these last five years. You give me two readymade princesses in the form of Palak and Payel; and our two angels Aayu and Aayan. When we were first married we made a promise to each other that we will stand and support each other through it all and be the best parents to our children who are the reason for our Punar Vivah. I thank you for being with me through it all because our first year together was not easy and you stood strong and proud at my side even disobeying our elders but you never give up on Ansh and I. I don't have enough words to say Thank you Yash and to express how much I Love you" and she momentary forgot that they had an audience and hug him close.
"Hello we are still here your children" said a naughty Ansh and all started to laugh "Mama Papa Romance latter let us eat now"
"Ansh you talk too much" said Aarti
"Just like his mom" answered Yash laughing
The girls said "Mama wait we will serve with Vedicka didi you sit today is a special day"
"My word look how my daughters have grown up" smiled Aarti caressing their cheeks.
The family had a wonderful afternoon together with games between the kids and fathers/uncles/moms/aunties while the elders played with all five babies.
Prateek cooked dinner with the help of the servants but Aarti, and Vidhi could not keep away from the kitchen and offering their help.
Dinner was buffet style loud and noisy because they had additional guests Vidicka future husband and his family were invited along with Akash's inlaws.
Later in their room Aarya had their routine shower together and retired to their bed for their nightly activities of romance which grew with time. Comfortable and secure in their love for each other.
