A good business man can read the opponent face very well. I think OM is a business man . He should have the ability to read Gouri's face which carried a fake smile and he should have noticed her nervous attitude.

I guess this has happened before... where Om gets emotional and MUs something. During Ishana's time, where Om gets all emotional by Ishana's sob story and gets fooled by her and overlooks what ShivRu could tell just by hearing the story. The only difference is there he MUs Ishana to be genuine when she was not and here it's the opposite.

Here, Om is more emotionally involved in thakuriyan's side and plus his own experience isn't letting him think beyond the surface. In Anika's case, he wasn't exactly emotionally involved or had any bias to cloud his thinking.

Ditto to your answer. Om had just come from admitting Thakuraiyan to the hospital to see Gauri dressed to marry Khali Thakur. I guess he was not going to think well of her. He is at this point "Biased" against her. Just like SSO was biased against Annika. He thought Annika was capable of selling footage mostly based on the fact that she is lower middle class. Had really nothing to do with her as a person. He MU most lower middle-class people and think they are low standard and will do anything for money etc.

Om had no such hang up's so he was not prepared to just believe Annika was the culprit coz she is not from their social standing. Here, however, he IS biased against women he thinks are "Home wreckers". He himself is engaged to one, and saw how for years his Mother had to compete with one. So yes he is biased and judgemental. He is not a saint and he has never been presented as one. He is also capable of judging and misunderstanding people based on his own experiences and bias. That is what he is going now. It is a damn sight more logical than the Daksh drama where he was just a cheap sleaze who made up a bunch of stories and SSO actually knew Annika then, but still believed him. Here Om doesn't know Gauri at all, and whatever he saw only confirmed to him that she has a lot of fire in her (crushing his car) and what looked like a "romantic scene" in Kali Thakur's Jeep!

He is also blinded by Prejudice. Here Om is Prejudice and maybe Gauri is Pride? Soon Gauri may be acting too proud because of Om's MU of her, and not understanding why he MU'd her in the first place. Everyone has a reason for doing what they do. This is just the beginning of the journey of Om and Gauri in realising what each other's true motivations are. So far their scenes (After the car crushing) has actually been good and not at all superficial. (which I like). Not meaningless fights and insults. But actually some depth in their interactions. Even if it's hate and MU, it feels real at this stage. I like that. So far I am interested enough to want to see what happens next!

P.S: The Money throwing scene was the most "out of character" scene for Om which I thought was really twisted. But how he is acting now I kind of expected.

While I myself am not an advocate of living together, I dont judge anyone to be of lesser character because they choose not to get married.

I grew up mostly in the west, so this is something I see everyday. I know plenty of people with good character who lived with their partners and then got married later. Some didn't. Om wanting Ridhima to live in his house does not mean he has no "sharafat" in him. He didn't coerce her. He asked her and she agreed. Just because a person gets married that doesn't mean they are more respectable. Is Om's father who is married but has a mistress more respectable? Is Shivaay's Father who got married, but never took his wife out socially because she is not sophisticated more respectable?

Is what Shivaay did by marrying Annika on the sly to save family reputation, and then introducing Tia as his wife respectable? Is what Rudra did with hiding his drunk marriage and then getting ready to marry some girl for a business deal respectable? All these people treated marriage in such disrespectful way. Om not getting married doesn't make him of any lesser character than these people. Just my POV.
