I am back with the 2^nd chapter... it's a bit short bcoz my exams are going on and i didn't have much time but i just couldn't resist giving an update

- C h a p t e r t w o -

Today was a quiet day for the Oberoi family. Shivaay woke up and the first thing he did was look around for anika. He was suddenly wide awake when he didn't see anika anywhere. " aaj jaldi uth gai?" he thought. Shivaay got ready as usual but his mind was somewhere else. He had still not seen her or even heard her voice.

When shivaay came down , he didn't see anyone there, only prinku was sitting on the sofa reading a magazine. " prinku sab log kahan hai" he asked in hopes of getting some info about anika's whereabouts.

" dadi mandir gayi hai, badi maa aur mom friends ke saath lunch par gaye hain" she informed. Shivaay didn't find out about anika but he wasn't going to ask.

As he was leaving prinku called him "bhaiya? Anika bhabhi kahan hai" when prinku asked this shivaay got confused because anika wasn't in their room and neither was she in the house, then where was she? " anika ko maine subah se nhi dekha, vo yahan nhi hai?"

"nhi bhaiya anika bhabhi ko toh maine bhi nhi dekha subah se." now shivaay was starting to worry and even more, he was getting angry. He called khanna and his team to ask them and they also didn't know where she was "how can you be so irresponsible khanna, kisi kaam ke nahi ho tum log."

That's when a security guard informs him that his car is missing "who meri gadi lekar chali gyi? Use drive karna bhi nahi aata aur tum logon mein se kisi ne nahi dekha use jate hue?" shivaay was furious on khanna and anika.

" dhoondo use, I am giving you an hour. Ek ghante mien mujhe anika iss ghar mein chahiye" shivaay ordered his security.

Few hours earlier

Anika was sleeping peacefully on her makeshift sofa bed when her phone rang " hello?" she enquired " hello, kya meri anika se baat ho rahi hai" listening the voice on the other side anika sat up and looked towards shivaay to see if he woke up or was still sleeping.

She gets up and tip toeing goes to the poolside and replies " haan main hi anika hun kahiye" "maam, aap saahil catering ki owner hain na? aapke liye ek legal notice aaya hai. Aapka kitchen jis zameen par hai vo illegal hai." Hearing this anika was shocked " kya? Aisa kaise ho saqta hai maine toh sab dekh kar vo zameen li thi. Vo illegal kaise ho saqti hai?"

" maam aap apni shop par 10 baje tak aa jaiye hum wahin baat karte hain" the caller cuts the call before anika could say anything. Hurriedly anika got ready as quietly as she could and was out the front gate. She didn't know why she took shivaay's car when she could have easily hired an auto.

Present

Anika didn't have any problem in driving and when she reached her shop she went in and saw everyone working as usual. Her employees were happy to see her but they noticed that she was tensed. She asked her head chef if she heard any such news " preeto? Kya yahan koi aaya that jisne kaha ho ki yeh zameen illegal hai?" preeto was momemtarily shocked but answered " nhi anika tujhse kisne kaha aisa?" " pta nhi yaar, subah call aya tha.. anyways tum log chinta mat karo main dekhti hun" anika was about to leave when preeto suggests her to call back the person who gave her this info.

Its been 20 minutes and anika had tried the phone 20 times. It rang a few times she called but no one picked up then it was switched off. Anika was thinking deeply about the situation " koi mujhse jhut kyun bolega, kon ho saqta hai?" "kahin shivaay ne toh nhi... nhi, vo aisa nhi kar saqte. Vo toh jaante bhi nhi par last time jab maine kaam pe jaane ki sochi thi toh unhone mujhe jaane hi nhi diya tha" she decided to look into this late and right now she needed to reach home.

" jaldi ghar chal anika varna raita phel jayega aur vo billu ji pure ghar ko sar par utha chuke honge"

Anika was driving back when her phone rang and it was shivaay so she picked up the call. "anika" shivaay sounded angry

At oberoi Mansion

He tried again but anika wasn't picking up her phone then suddenly he heard the call getting received and he shouted " anika"

"where are you? Kahan tum subah se dikhi nahi aur kisi ko bina btaye chali gayi and that too meri car leke. Abhi tumhe driving bhi nhi aati sahi se and.." he was so angry but relieved to know that she was okay.

"shivaay main thik hun bas ghar hi aa rahi hun" she said calmly and shivaay was furious again. She was behaving as if she hasn't done any wrong. "haan tum aao , tab main tumse baat karta hun." And he cut the call.

And there anika was relived even if it was short lived and then she smiled thinking how he got so worried for her. In all this she didn't realise that she was about to hit someone. It was too late and the car collided with the person infront of her car. Anika hit the breaks and got out of the car. It wasn't a very dangerous accident as anika was driving slowly. Anika reached the person lying on the road. It was a woman and when anika crouched beside her to look at her face she was stunned. "Tia?"
