Unfortunately for more than an year Zee has not been performing well compared to other GEC's.
KKB is their only popular show in terms of viewership, revenues as well as ratings so don't think channel heads have too much power to influence PH or writers of the show unlike colors or starplus.
Also till last month not much serious competition at 9pm slot. These are the same reasons PH/Writers/CVs are taking the show, script, plots and their characters way too granted.
