Hello everyone... Wishing you all a very Happy Valentine's Day... Hope all of you are celebrating today with your loved ones - be it your husband, boyfriend, family, friends...
Episode starts with Dev's demolition derby and it's creating too much noise and disturbing Sonakshi and her employees. She decides to go investigate. Jatin tries to control Shatabdi Express but she is on full steam.
On the other side, Ishwari arrives because she didn't see Dev for a looong time.
Me (eating cupcakes): That would be since last night. Dev was in his room with Golu so she didn't get exclusive attention or as their recent equation, exclusive taane. Ek chutki attention ki kimat tum kya jaano, Dev Babu?. Oh wait, you know the value. Hence the demolition derby. Oookay...
Ishwari and Sona both arrives at the same time and shouts his name. And then looks at each other.
Dev opens the door and starts to shout but his voice gets dried up.
Me (hiding under the blanket): Aisi bhayanak scene uparwala kisiko na dikhaye. Chudail (Ishwari) and grim reaper (Sonakshi) ek saath. Oi CVs, Aaj Halloween nehin, Valentine's Day hain re baba. Koi CVs ko memo bhejo yaar ki holidays ki Dev-Ishwari kar rahe hain yeh log. Dev ke saath saath mere bhi tote udd gaye.
At school Golu continues his bullying on Soha, now with added vengeance for taking his BigCha's attention away from him (yep, yahan bhi ek chutki attention). He pushes Soha, she falls down and gets hurt.
Me: Yeh attention hain ya iPhone price. Dixit family mein iska value kabhi kam hi nehin hota... Har saal sirf demand badta hi jaa raha hain...
At work, Ishwari pushes in and starts her crooning, Raja beta, Mummy ke pass aa jao. Mummy ko batao kisko daantna hain. Tumko Sonakshi ne pareshan kiya baby? Main usse thodi aur taana maarke aau jaise 7 saal pehle maarti thi?
Dev is silent.
Me: #Facepalm...
Dev gets call from Principal's office about Golu's behaviour and he ignores Ishwari and leaves.
Ishwari is hurt that she came aaalll the way and Dev didn't give her attention.
Me: Haan. Bechari saat samundar paar karke AC car mein ghar se office aayi hain. Attention to banta hain. Maata, aap aapne laal ko apna charnamrit nehin denge? Aaj raat daaru mein milake pi lega?
Vicky shows the pendrive where Dev was stalking Sona. And tells her that if Jatin stays in Sonakshi's life, she will not come back in Dev's life.
Ishwari gets lightbulb moment you know like the one she got when she sent Ritwik's proposal? )
Me: I mean batti thodi purani hain. Lekin khurafati idea ke time bada achcha kaam karta hai. Last time Dev ne kahan tha naa ki Sonakshi ka rishta laake Ishwari ne achcha kiya? Ab dekha nateeja? Isi liye galat kaam koi bhi kare, unko rokna chahiye. Chahe woh bhagwan ki direct descendant hi kyun naa ho.
Anyways, on the way, a girl stops Dev and asks her to buy flowers for Valentine's Day. He thinks of their proposal. He buys a rose.
He goes to school and realises Golu fought with Suhana. Golu claims she fell down on her own.
Dev tells Golu that he is the most important person in his life (Maa, tu meri zindegi ki sabse important insaan hain. Tujhse important koi nehin)
He says that he taught Golu that he should behave sweetly with girls.
Golu squints at him and says, "But you said we should teach girls a lesson?"
Dev gets embarrassed and says, "Soma girls deserve to be taught a lesson. Not all girls."
Me: Bhai wah... Dixit ka palti saaf jhalak raha hain. Dev bhaiya, bache man ke sachhe. Unke saamne soch samajhke bola karo. Golu aapka bestie nehin hain. Bachha hain. Aur jab aapko Soha ka existence pata chalega tab kisko kitna important bologe? Aapko relationship balance karna aaj tak nehin aaya. Yeh jo expectations ka unreasonable boundary aap banate ho naa, isi liye aapka yeh haal hain.
Dev apologizes to Soha on Golu's behalf and gives her a rose in the same way he gave to Sonakshi in proposal style. She said that she already forgave him when she saw Golu sitting with a sad face and that's what she was telling Principal.
Me: Oh honey, there is the compassionate heart you got from your mother who forgives without needing sorry just seeing their repentance.
That proposal scene was adorable. Every daughter is adored by their father. I will bet if Suhana faces, God forbid, same situation as Sonakshi did, Dev will behave exactly like Bijoy. He will hate the man who hurt his princess forever. Mark my words.
Golu, even though he was happy to be forgiven, didn't like his Bigcha and Suhaana's closeness. I have a feeling Dev will be again on balancing rope. This time for Golu and Soha.
Anyways, Dev brings ice cream for Soha and Golu. She doesn't eat it. Dev asks why. She says that she has sore throat and if she eats icecream she will get sick then everyone at her home will worry. Dev tries to take the ice cream back. But Soha says that she doesn't like waste. She should give it to someone else. A woman with a child was selling pens. Soha gave the ice cream to her. The lady gives her a pen because she doesn't want to take free ice-cream (Me: Haila. More honour than Dixit family jinko fakat ka maal hamesha achcha lagta hain). Soha gives Dev that pen to Dev in exchange for the Rose. Dev is impressed and says that he will cherish her gift.
Me: Awww... How adorable... Soha doesn't like to worry her family, just like Dev and is not a taker, just like Sonakshi. She took a gift and returned a gift. Other than Sona and now Soha did anyone ever gave anything to Dev? As far as I remember, he is the only one who keeps giving presents. I can't think of any instances. If you remember, please write down below.
Sonakshi looks for Jatin to find out that he went to school when school called for Soha. She rushes out the door.
She was waiting for elevator to arrive when Ishwari comes there and as usual blasts her left, right and centre putting the complete blame on her from explosion in space that created Earth to the unfortunate day Daddy Dixit decided let's make Issue Maata actual maata to natural disasters to Donald Trump.
Sonakshi says that she is not her daughter-in-law anymore. She can't talk to her like that.
Me (raises hand slowly): Ummm... Excuse me, Sonakshi. She should not talk to you not because she is no longer your mother-in-law, but because no human being should talk with such disrespect to another human being like that. You said the same thing during last break up, remember? That you don't have to listen to her because she is no longer your employer? Same thing. Respect doesn't come from position. You have to earn it. I was just reminding you. Sorry to interrupt. But please continue.
Ishwari shows her the pendrive as in her own son's stalking evidence. Sonakshi is shocked that Ishwari spied on her. Ishwari neatly sidesteps her son's fault and puts that blame on Sonakshi.
Me: Yes, make sense. Just like mother of a criminal blames the victim for coming in her criminal son's way and enticing him to commit crimes. What is the stalker's fault? If stalking object comes in front of him, is it his fault if he spies on her without her knowledge or consent with a spy camera? I am sure the people who make dirty MMS of innocent women will happily use this excuse.
And Ishwari, woh kya kahan tha aapne? Insaan apni izzat? Yep, the famous line. Kya dialogue maari thi Maata. Aaj tak installment mein chipak rahee hain.
Anyways, Sonakshi leaves from there. She was getting late.
Precap: Dev sees Sonakshi, Jatin and Soha and gets shocked.
Me: Okay bhaiya. Let's see how much your logic has improved in 7 years. Let's take your ex-wife whom you left 7 years ago whose surname is Bose, then let's take a cute girl about Golu's age who says your signature line (since they are in same grade) whose last name is also Bose, then let's take Sonakshi's friend and business partner whose last name is Roy and who is looking to get married, but not yet married. Oh and for accuracy purposes let's also add that Sonakshi had 7% chance to conceive and you tried real hard after getting Maataji's blessings and instructions. Add these all up and what did you get?
