The writers have done such gross injustice to a complex character like Ishwari. She was never this pathetic or one-dimensional. During the initial few episodes, the writers did such a fantastic job in bringing out the complexity. She was insecure and overtly possessive yes but not inhuman. This is the same Ishwari who told Sona its the guy's loss if he rejected a wonderful girl like her post the marriage proposal fiasco. She is the same Ishwari who felt bad for insulting Sonakshi and regretting her actions the moment Dev came home and told her she is better than mamiji and this is now how she should react.. Its really sad to watch the writers butcher every character just for the sake of drama. Ishwari has been the worst hit (Dev-Sona atleast have supporters till date😆 )and its sad cos Supriya is a wonderful actress. The writers have no idea what they are doing despite having such talented actors on board.

I had a good laugh reading ur update, Tia...ishwari has a very selective memory...she forgot that she was the one who asked sona to get out of dev's life..and who kept quiet when dev asked her to leave...the one who shoved the prenup on dev's face and gave him an ultimatum.

I really hope the prenup resurfaces when soha comes in the pic.

@bold - I agree Soha is a happy kid and self-satisfied with the lovely bonding that she shares with her mom and grandparents ... She's not someone who will put herself into sadness because of suppression... She's also a curious kid and willing to explore new things in her side of world... She's not someone who is eating chocolates without liking it or looking for cupcakes but being deprived of it... She's ready to enjoy all flavors of life in her own way... Suhana will sure love to meet and bond with her dad, not because she's deprived of father's love but because she knows what's mother's love and want to know more about father's love too... Why should our emotional state always incline towards the depression state of mind to justify our needs for something else... Not necessary that I've to be in shortage of something to get something... I can still be satisfied with whatever I've and look out for more.. May be we are worried to be called out as greedy then?! 😆 How else invention or exploration happens? Not because of shortage but also because of the thirst to evolve and grow... To explore... 😉

Regarding Ishwari and her God complex,I find it to be so weird that her name itself is Ishwari and she has taken it too seriously.

Then she named her son Dev and Dev had inherited a bit of his mother's tendencies.He too likes to play God everytime.

But if we look at his full name Devrath then I can understand why she named him that.Because Devrath/Bhishma from Mahabharat had sacrificed his own happiness for his father's happiness.Someone she also expected her son to behave like that and he did for a while.

People like Ishwari love to dominate and control everything.They cannot bear it if a single thing doesn't happen as per their wish.And the difference between Ishwari and the other evil Sasumaas from Ekta/Rashmi soaps is that Ishwari always plays the victim card which is something they will never do.Ishwari keeps on garnering sympathy by ranting about her sorrows,her struggle,etc.

I am not demeaning her struggle but has she ever been considerate enough to acknowledge that others too had to struggle and suffer.Neha had to sacrifice her education and childhood.She remained deprived of what was hers by right because Ishwari wanted to educate her son.During the 1st breakup,Dev sacrificed his love for her.She couldn't see that.

And 7 years ago,Sona's family was driven to the streets to perish.Will she ever acknowledge that it's her mistake??No.She will keep on and on about herself and her sufferings.Tell me lady,how much did you have to suffer in the last 7 years?? You only lost your beloved slave and your son became a casanova.Neither you nor he had to suffer.

On the other hand,the Boses had to struggle extensively to reach the position where they are today.But did we ever see them grumbling and complaining about how much pain and suffering they had to undergo?? No.Because they never play the victim card like you do.

Bingo, Push-pull. Yes, she is happy and satisfied and is curious about her father. But she is not impulsive decision taker. She is thinking and strategizing how to approach this the best. She also knows that since her father does not know about her existence, there's a possiblity that he might get shocked and won't want her. So she also wants to prepare for that. Soha is an extremely sorted girl. Do you realize that she is approaching her father's identity the same way, Sonakshi was when she fell in love and wanted to figure out how to tell Dev?
