Here's something strikingly common we found in Queen Bey's Grammy gown and Deepika Padukones xXx' Return of Xander Cage India premiere gown. Aside from the fact that they're both shimmery af, there's more to the gown. They both have a plunging neckline. However, it's the styling where they've been poles apart. First off, let's congratulate Beyonce for her win at the Grammys 2017 as well as the stunning performance. We were spellbound by how beautifully she serenaded the stage of the award show, in a luscious sheer golden gown as she sang Sandcastle and Love Drought! It was a sight worth swooning over. In case you missed it, you can find it on our site. Anyway, post her performance (that has become the talk of the town now), she slipped into something sexier that let her bump out in full glory. Wearing a shimmery red Peter Dundas number, the diva posed for the paparazzi and slayed everyone with her appearance. What I really liked about her whole outing is the fact that she styled it supremely well.
Beyonce's gown had all the shimmer in the world. Queen Bey always shines on so the outfit totally matched her persona. But what makes it sexier is how the plunging neckline has been accentuated by a gorgeous necklace. The neckpiece certainly adds more panache to the look. Perhaps that's one piece of accessory that was necessary to make this look stand out. Don't you think? I also loved the fact that she chose to keep her hair down and flaunt those blonde tresses. Overall, her look was just as inspirational as her songs! Did you like it? (ALSO READ - Grammys 2017: Queen Bey SLAYS it with her spectacular performance - watch video)
As soon as I saw Beyonce's this gown, I went back in time. Didn't Deepika wear a similar gown? Well, I found my answer because she did so during the premiere of xXx: Return of Xander Cage in India. Her big Bollywood debut needed the diva to shine on the red carpet. Therefore she chose a Naeem Khan gown. Well, it did fall under a lot of scrutiny for the flaws it bore. There was the bad fitting which made her look rather drab. Plus, the fact that DP tied her hair didn't really help her either. I've already expressed by grief over this outfit earlier so maybe you'd like to revisit it. (ALSO READ - Deepika Padukone's this ensemble proves all that glitters is NOT gold)
While I'm more Queen Bey team, a lot of fans of DP did like the look, or so they commented on her page. So tell us, what do you think of Beyonce's rendition of the shimmery number? Who pulled it off better? Vote and let us know!
