This has to be the lowest phase in BW in terms of music . Almost every song nowadays is a remake of old classic songs by garbage like Badshah,Yo yo etc Is the quality of music so bad now that they cant even produce new songs? Also i am sick of seeing the same singers again and again

I don't have problem with remaking - it's either good or bad but it always interest me ...infact, if we see it in positive sense, it brings back an old song for current generation of young listeners :)

I can say that because of personal experience, as a child, in late 90s and early 2000s remakes of old old songs were introduced by Indian pop singers, they were very good to listen to - but that's a different story.
When my parents would play old original songs, my curiosity and enjoyment of the original was better than old songs that were never remade, atleast as a child. And now any remake always takes us back to original too..

Now whether the current music composers are incapable of their own originality is a different story, but I like remakes because they remind me of 'old days'.. the enjoyment of it is really different. I see remakes as celebration of the past/original... now if it's in good quality or not is a different question.

I like remakes because old songs were the best!! :D

It's just that the new versions don't sound good
I only liked the new Humma Humma but then the rap ruins that one
