Poor Shivaay.
Here we are laughing at the irony of what is happening to his personal life, while he reels from one situation to the next, unaware. A part of me wishes Ani-Ru let him in on this ruse of theirs so he's not so tortured.
But then, Shivaay NOT knowing is half of why the plan worked so well. The next is wacky Annika/Kalavathy running and flying with her alter-ego so convincingly, that even Rudra is gaping and incredulous watching her, What in the world is Bhabhi up to? This wasn't in the plan? What is the plan?
But she is deep undercover (😆) and there is no time to catch up. It was darn hard to execute the plan, and the bait has been bitten and she HAS to run with it. No matter how hard it is when Shivaay is doing his darnedest to hold on to her.
Tia and Svetlana, have been trying continuously to create rifts between Shivaay and her. First death traps, blackmailing, then turning Pinky loose at Annika and alienating Shivaay, ALL didn't work. Shivaay and Annika were rock solid outwardly as a team. Like a badminton mixed doubles' team , seamless in teamwork.
God knows, what they were going to pull next! So Annika decides to give them what they want.
Separate Shivaay and Annika.
She controlled the separation, no misunderstandings or anger, just a clean break. She doesn't remember him, and he is not hurting or disabled, she is still there yet they are apart. Genius. Next part, is to join the enemy camp.
But, recall their last conversation. When Annika went to speak with him at Rudra's request, to convince him to do something to stop Omkara's mad decision to marry Svetlana.
Shivaay :
Omkara made his decision, and he's sticking to it. I have to respect his decision.
I had to make a similar decision too, for my family, for its honour.
Tell me this, how did you end up marrying me?

Why is it so difficult to understand why Om is doing this? He is doing it for his loved ones. I would have BURNED this house down if I was in his place!!
I will protect and defend my family at all costs. Whatever it takes.
(Isn't that what Annika is doing right now, for the Oberois?)
But Annika didn't agree with his point of view. You don't let your loved ones do something stupid for whatever reason justifiable. You fight with them, reason with them, come to a better solution, together. But Om and Shivaay are not in negotiating positions, they are being action and reaction men. Solutions only welcomed.

But Annika also felt then, how she was nothing but a pawn in this game Shivaay is playing. The enemy thinks they are targeting "his Queen" but the secret was, to him, she wasn't a Queen at all. In Shivaay's chess game, the King is all powerful, has all the moves, and everyone else is a pawn in disguise.
Was she hurt, that after all that, he could just put her aside like an unimportant plaything, to be picked up again when it fancies him. Watch the moment again. She was hurt. Her eyes were angry and hurt. He was trivializing their situation. A compromise.
And then he got up and walked out. He gets to always walk out on her. But she doesn't get that priviledge.
(Now we will all balk, and say, NO! He loves her so much!! He is a complicated control freak , and doesn't know how to manage this avalanche of emotions he has for undeserving Annika. How this simple girl managed to catch Shivaay Singh Oberoi's fancy, he refuses to acknowledge. His brain is fighting with his heart now. We'll let him fight that fight himself...ego maniac 😆 ! Annika has better things to do )
Is she doing all this NOT just to catch the Kapoor connection? Is she distancing herself from Shivaay slowly? Forcing him to either acknowledge her place in his life or leave her completely.
I noticed that in every scene Kalavathy has to deal with Shivaay, she snubs him, sometimes with his own words, and he is missing every sign. This is the guy who subtly told her not to leave without revealing his hand in it. She understood his motive, and here he is missing every clue.
What is this language ? ( In correct grammar, mind you, just like he does 😆)

Throws tashan Shivaay style back at him, "I don't take orders from ANYONE" and walks off.
Yet, when it comes to acknowledging their relationship, she gives him the time, to say the words. Widened eyes, cocked eyebrows, a pause in the sentence for his answer. When he fails to, her antics resume again.
She comes with the mangalsutra and sindhoor, telling him to put it on for her. And that scene we have to wait and see tonight with all its underlying meaning. Does he tell her what she means to him? Or will he just tell her how much he needs her instead, again.
It feels to me, like if he finally acknowledges her as his wife, or himself as her husband, says those words officially to her own ears, she would let him in on her plan immediately. But til then, he must simmer and boil and decide what he wants to do about Annika.
You know, when a child is addicted to a plaything, and he doesn't actually need it? You separate it from him, and he cries and cries for it, throws a tantrum like the sky was falling and all the joy in life is gone. His heart breaks and then he slowly realizes he's fine without it, and moves on.
Yes, it sounds sad and depressing, to think of Annika like that. But she is giving him an exit. If he doesn't acknowledge her or give her that place in his life, she would just walk away as Kalavathy Thakur.
Kaun tujhe yoon pyaar karega, jaise me karti hoon?
This part of the plan is probably something Rudra does not know of, which is why he is shocked and puzzled also.
I'm loving the dimensions I'm seeing right now. Please God, give this team all the TRPs they deserve.
